In OFP and Arma, they left out all the UnEthical and Banned weapons, like any Thermal weapons(NAPALM, Flame Thrower, Termite Grenade), Chem/Bio weapons, Nuclear Weapon, Anti Personnel mines and booby traps etc. But I think they should let in all those for OFP2, I mean it is war with China, and far is i know they are not in agreement of any those international laws, even if they say they do, they will break it(correct me plz). Any how, i am just saying it is a good posability that those weapons will be used and i would like to dodge more than just bullets =D
More over American has far more superiority over China, little bit of Chinese mines and bobby trap may level the field abit and give us a whole new Battle experience. Really, i have got really bored shooting Russians with a Huge accurate click and you die Guns in OFP. |

Yes, agreed. War is not fair. Don't ever expect the enemy to play by the same rules that you have to. However, you will also find that some soldiers in countries that have the idea of "unethical weapons" may still break the rules in some way, such as using hollow point rounds that they scabbed off the enemy or made themselves (I've heard that it's possible to modify an FMJ round in the field so that it behaves like a HP round, though this is highly illegal).
I would like to see the land mine (can't remember it's name) that, when activated, the explosive part jumps into the air to around head height before exploding and sending shrapnel in all directions with ehough force to decapatate a human. |

This is something modders can do. I think you guys forget about that community and expect CM to implement everything.
As far as I'm concerned, CM should just pay attention to the core game design and not "addons" that will come sooner or latter from the modders. It's just my opinion.

SmallfrySASR your refering to the M16 Antipersonel mine or the bouncing betty pretty nasty piece of work that mine but its not in use anymore the Chinnese and Russians have varients and they are still in use. Why use Naplam or Flame Throwers, Thermobloics are the way to go ,much much more effective and hell they aren't illegal either plus the Marines use them in the SMAW and other weapon systems as well.
Try dodging a piece of shrapnel going at 3000m/s lol. It will be fairly hard to create minefields and after a while it will just get damn annoying. Let the community add these things in. CM should concentrate on polishing the game up rather then adding more content. |

Well, what about the platform players. You can't load mods on for them....
Even if you are a hardcore PC guy and hate platform people like you hate macs. platform is what's going to Make OFP2 a huge game and more fan base then what we have now.... |

I agree that a system and/or standard should be implemented that would allow Console gamers the same access to mods that PC users have. Make Add Ons some sort of DLC. BTW I own a MacBook Pro and can only dream of running OFP2 natively. At least I am able to dual boot XP and OS X.
