As a bonified seeker of thrills and adrenaline rushes, I'm a confessed competitive player. And proud of it.
Unfortunately, this game has no active clan ladder system, and both the leaderboards and ranks are pure rubbish due to the existence of AI. (Bot stompers, you know who you are) What I'm hoping for in this letter is having CM endorse, referee and or organise matches between competing clans. Possibly host an area displaying the various recognised clans and their tags, wins and losses, links to websites and so on. A support for competitive multiplayer takes little to no effort to do, Loads less than coming up with a new patch, and a good way to boost community involvement in the game. (I for one have found myself judging how active games were by the number of active clans) As it is we host these things amongst ourselves but why keep these matches below the radar ? I think this would add a whole new dimension to the multiplayer in ways I find are self explanatory. Anywho, just throwing the idea out there and Id like to get some feedback from other players, and possibly Helios on what can be done. On a side note : -=VS=- is still looking for scrims and as yet undefeated. If you have a clan ( or group of friends) who think they have what it takes to challenge the best organised group on OfpDr, bring it Blindsides and Infiltrations, no respawn. (As this combination is the only one that judges actual skill and promotes quality teamwork) Please dont insult us and ask for Annihilation -.- PS: If the grammar or sentence structure proves lacking, know that it is 5:45 AM for me and my blurry eyes are about to close. I wish you aurevoir, and a-dieux! May we meet under unpleasant conditions on the field of battle. -Epic Cornwallis (for everyone) -(>")>Epic Cornwallis<("<) (for my Fighting Kirby Overlord of Privates role) --=VS=-Epic Cornwallis (For those who are about to lose)

To gauge interest levels, if there are any clan/team leaders who are interested in something like this can they please make a post in this thread.

Well today we had a scrim between -=VS=- and 1S1K ( and =13g=). So yes, this game does have clans. Many? No. but the number is rising and so is the challenge. Players are learning to play together and stomps finally have some bite from time to time ( usually from players who learned under our wing :] )
On a side note, I love how international online gaming is. in this case our clan which is half north american, half euro, fighting an alliance of Italians ( 1S1K) and Germans (=13g=) Which also brings up that I would love it if CM could offer to host these scrims on a beastly connection as a neutral party. Also, while setting up smaller scrims, it can be a real pain trying to get everyone on the right team as we are limited by the american to pla ratios the game gives us -.- PS: I dont proofread my stuff, sorry And add Epic Cornwallis on Xfire if you want to set up a match |

Yeah, I love playing with you -=VS guys=-. The teamwork and tactics really pay off in matches and with a good strong (platoon) leader like Cornwallis here everything is kept together nicely. He even taught me the joys of using the 'stealth class' weapons on infiltration, so surely that's worth something

I would love to start a clan or join one, if multi-player was playable... Unfortunately its a lag fest of the first order.
