I will be converting this mission into a campaign mission today so that people can continue from where they left off!

Yay! I've gotten about half-way twice now, both taking over half an hour, and then it's crashed or something. Would love a save ability.

Like I stated in page 2, this is a failure in the core engine coding. and thats not something I can fix no matter how hard I try. the only way to make it so you could 100% finish the mission is to limit the total number of AI that can be spawned, which of course would mean a SIGNIFICANT drop in the amount of units you fight along side/against. defeating the point of the mission

I know it sucks, but I was expecting this to be fixed by patch2, CM's lack of quality control is really beginning to bug me

Indeed it does suck as it's really only your missions ( and a couple of others ) that are holding any interest in the game for me these days since mp is so terminally borked and the vanilla game is frankly a bit dull.
How significant a drop in the amount of units are you talking about?

Well, taking into account it should take you around 30-45 minutes to complete the mission, around 10-15 units per side (rather than 25-30 per side at the moment)

This campaign version will allow you to continue from the last save point (which is every 5 minutes. I also fixed up the White Fang complex, which I forgot to position the stuff (half of it you couldnt even see! ground level my ass!)

Just played the RC version. Templar, YOU ARE THE WIN!!! It did crash after a bit (on normal). Look forward to the campaign version which I will play soonly!

Not sure how I still manage to play the game, I should of uninstalled it.

I have played your missions lately, and I am finding fun in them. So straight away, thnx for what you have done.

Getting peed off with CTD with this game in custom missions. If it dont work, dont upload it. Or keep it in the modding forums until it is stable? < Aimed at anyone. Templars hard work would be followed, or better followed in the modding place. Final releases should be up in here until CM pull there crudd fingure out and create a proper modding (lol mission) forum. Tough to ask few guys to DL something and have issues all night.

Have 2 guys lose connection after 10 - 15 mins coop regular, seems to be for anything we try, not just this mission.

+1 for CTD too

The community here is unfortunately TINY, and the vast majority of that tiny community never visit the mission editing forum. I have always been under the impression that the mission editing sub forum is for posting discussions related to mission editing, rather than a place for people to post there missions (they should make a forum entirely dedicated to mission releases (well they should have at the start, kind of pointless now)

Unfortunately, if I waited to release this until it was stable, you would never get to play it, because I have serious doubts CM is going to make a patch3, and even if they do, I have serious doubts they will ever fix this issue (when have they ever tackled a big issue?)

On my computer I can play right through to the end of the mission without it crashing, which is why I released it, unfortunately it seems to crash more for others (same with IW) I didnt intend to make any additions to this, as its more of a preview to a campaign, which I will be working on once (if) I get IW-FR RC8 working

I believe i experienced a crash on one of my PC's, but in a fresh install of Windows 7 64 , and XP 32 Bit, no crashes at all.
Is all the junk people have in their pc's where problems start xD!
