Default Sequel to Dragon Rising?

I've found this link in a forum and it says that CM revealed the sequel to Dragon Rising. Is this just a rumor is it true?? It would be nice if we could recieve an official answer on this question. Just tell us if it's true or if it's only a rumor. Does anyone else has a link to another site where this is mentioned??

Guys, please don't flame or troll in here and please stay on-topic and discuss in a friendly way

Perhaps you should lay off the sniffing of the Gas

Rev is a good mate, if he bans you - its because your a menace

@ Rev this was posted a while ago, you might find the old thread on the topic.
From what I gathered nothing came of anyone saying anything but "Fk CM it blows! OFP: DR 3 = FAILLL!"

Well its just "if" that is true what he posted... Then that means they have allready written off this game... Game is 1 month old and plans are allready in the works for #3? I finde all that hard to believe... I know as of this moment I am miffed at CM but still have hopes for this game in becoming a great shooter... I just wish CM would talk to us let us know that all will be allright in the next patch or somthing.....Even a thread about beta patches would be nice so then atleast we know what is being worked on... Most other game companies post stuff like that... This hush hush thing CM has is killing the moods of the peeps in the forums...

The date on the article is mid-way through last month. CM didn't ever plan to develop this engine to only release one game. If it's the case they plan for a sequel next year, it's good news (even if it's more of an expansion pack than true sequel).

Far more worrying would be if meetings are being held during these weeks considering ending the franchise at this point due to lack of interest in the DLC etc.

The, 'BLEARGH! HOW DARE THEY START PRODUCING A SEQUEL BEFORE THEY FIX THIS GAME?!' argument (as previously seen RE: Operation Arrowhead) is mostly counter-productive. At least if they're producing a sequel, they're putting coders to work on the game engine.

But this goes back like I said in many posts before, why are people even caring anymore?

Isn't there enough evidence by now of how things are, where they are headed and the outcome current fated for this community, the game and the title of this game?

Well if they do make a sequel. I am not buying it, because the first game was not what I expected.

Will the sequal have the full "get in, get out" animations that we were shown that never seemed to make it to the game?
