If they decieded to make a sequel I would look forward to it, but with great suspicion. I've been into FPS ever since the days of Wolfenstein 3D, but I've NEVER been dissapointed this badly. Needless to say, there will be no pre orders from me. I've learned my lesson.
In the end, this game doesn't need THAT much to be great. Put in dedicated servers, join in progress, mod SDK and up the maxplayers to 64 or more (no point in vast maps and vehicles but so few players) and it'll be great. The core gameplay is allright. In short: Sequel - thumbs up. BUT after having faced the greatest video game dissapointment in a decade, CM will have to put in all of the above PLUS communicate PLUS give long term support for this title in order to win me over. I'm not holding my hopes too high, but in the unlikely event that it would happen, I'm getting it. |

Mmkey, so this really was the Beta of OFP: DR... oh my... they so screwed this up, i mean really screw this up, imagine the bad pr they will get for the "long awaited" Operation Flashpoint sequel being dead in a month after the release, its a huge huge joke, nothing else.
Shame on you codemasters SHAME ON YOU!

After their finally waiting until after a month since release to tell us of the no-dedicated servers ever, I'd be very reluctant to ever buy Codemasters again... if they can't be trusted on this game, what's to say they'll be trustworthy on any other?
REALLY disappointed in codemasters this time around. |

Why are people believing what a measly blog says? It needs a source to back up its claims. Making DiRT and OFP yearly titles sounds too far fetched in my opinion. Especially announcing it this early.
