Default Finalt played with the new if you want to call it a patch!

Well I figured I would play, and see what the patch did. I had not played in probably about six weeks. One thing I found kinda lame, was it was not an auto update. It was not hard to do, I just like auto updates. So anyways I played a few games. I did notice, that the server list loaded faster when browsing for servers. Entering a server was also faster. I lost connection twice, out of about 15 games. I had to exit the game twice though then reboot it, because I lost my compass, my gun/ammo display, and my damage display. I did notice that 99% of the time, when I clicked to change weapons, position, or enter a vehicle it did it on the first try. However I'm still puzzled by one thing. When I would be laying prone, In tall grass the enemy knew exactly where I was. However if they where doing the same, I could never see them. Then majority of the time, I would have to shoot people 5-6 times to kill them. However the majority of the time, when I got hit it only took one shot. I was getting chest shots 99% of the time. They would just fall, and I would have to keep shooting. Sometimes the bullets literally, passed right through them and did absolutely nothing. I did not know there was such a thing, as disappearing bullets. There are still to many bugs and a major, I mean major need for dedicated servers. I mean, what a waste of money on Codemasters part. Why even make a game like this? I have never owned a Codemasters game, and unless they pull a miracle out of their *** I'll never buy another. They have a good base, they are just obviously not worried about the follow up. So what else is out there. COD MW2. I will not waste my money. I can not even stand to look at COD4 now. All the bunny hoping, spray and pray, helicopters, and tiny *** maps. I mean with that game, just learn the maps and run around like a crack head! The only possible hope for us PC gamers is Battlefield Bad Company 2, that releases next year, It's really a shame too, because PC kicks consoles ***. Consoles have limitations. There not upgradeable like the PC. Not to mention the PC cant be beat, well used to not be beat for FPS. I have given up hope, unless by some great power they fix this game. It will get installed and thrown in the trash along with COD4. God help the PC gamers.

Well spoken! I had high hopes for this game... what happened? I am really worried about the future of PC-games, seems that the trend is to release unfinished games just to sell DLC, premium accounts and countless of other things that you already payed for...

Wont be buying any DLC ever!

From what ive learned since im gaming and bought bad games and had similiar experiences is.
Try before Buy No Demo No Money

Dont get fooled by some Hype made by Devs and Commercials what you can do in this game and how revolutionary it is

No Dedis = Fail.
Console Ports to Pc = Fail
$ DLC = Fail
No Communication between Devs and Community = Fail

Is all from my perspective and my opinion.
when i look at CCP who maintain EVE Online then this is an exemplary how communication with the community works!

+1 agreed

Yes CCP do know how to make a really good community... as combatant as it is on their forums everyone knows this is what the game is all about.

It appears to me that CM hasn't got the first clue on how to build a community worth shouting about, nor making a game with any sort of longevity. I hope this is a hard lesson learnt by CM.

Why the marketing people want the same user experience as on PC is beyond me. They hope to save money in development, and turn a greater profit. The fact is that company's earn their reputation, in actions and ethics. If a company in the 21st century doesn't treat the consumer ethically the company does not fair well, and eventually will go under. In America we are seeing this each day since the down turn in the economy. The companies that use fraudulent marketing and bogus tactics go extinct. That is a grim reality.
