I like this game and even if I am not so happy about this first patch I am secure that this game will not die.
The game has a good potentiality and I do not think CM will loose this chance and loose theyr customers intentionally. We must give them time . The modders can do a great work too if they will get the tools from CM. What I expect now is that CM will give us some kind of comunication telling what are now the next steep they intend to do and most of all if they will give the possibility to the comunity to support the game by modding it. Please CM do not let this great game to die! |

Yes ybor. Maybe The Darling's (CM Founders) and Mr. Cousens (CEO) will lift their heads up from their spreadsheets showing their profits from this game long enough to go meet with Lenton and his team. Maybe they will tell that team to communicate with us.
This is a great game. But w/o the necessary things we all know are needed, and a communicated plan on when they may arrive. It's on to MW2 (console I guess, ugh). And BFBC2 for our MP fun. Those games are not for me necessarily, this game is. But not in its current state. Maybe the Darlings and the CEO will make it right? Those spreadsheets will go off the charts with proper SADS/SDK. Hopefully they aren't counting on CakeMania 2 for the Wii for those profits - count on us PC gamers please? |

Lets just face it people, Sion and his bunch have got the money they came for and will fix nothing that takes any effort at all and if Sion does decide to come back on the forums to talk to us he will only come back with the stupid ass approach he did last time which was basically "we are hearing what your saying but we aren't fixing it at the moment"
Now that bold part of the text is what everyone holds on to but really it is only put into the text so the few that have faith don't slaughter them aswell.

I think is too early to arrive to this conclusion.
The game has only one month life and the first patch is goiing out. I remember in the past other games had a lot of similar problems when they first came out and then with time and modders support they solved most of them. I think CM has no interest to let this game die and they already told before that they are planing several incrementations and add on for the future. Let us be positive and wait to hear theyr next steeps I wait CM next comunication |

We've already started discussions with TemplarGFX in order to find a solution that allows his AI mod to work properly without breaking the integrity of the MP game.

Please remember as well that if you want to continue using the AI mods for example, that they will continue to work with the unpatched version of the game.

However, I do believe that it would clear the air here if you (CM) were more forthcoming about your plans for the game. I think the most pressing questions now are: 1. will you allow modding of the game (adding user-made weapons, units, etc.) 2. what's your position regarding dedicated servers 3. will you allow join-in-progress for MP matches You don't need to commit yourself and give dates but just state whether a feature is out of the question or is it something the team are or will look into but cannot give guarantees at this stage. What do you say Helios? |
