If there is a cd key generated when someone installs the game does this mean that all those people who have downloaded the game illegally and installed it will be given the same cd key or does it mean (as i fear) that these people will have their own cd key and therefore be able to play the game without any retribution?

Dedicated servers you say?

I can assure you we have not been ignoring you, we have been dealing with issues on a priority basis and obviously the connection issues amongst other things have been top priority over the last 120 hours.

I hear the calls but cannot promise anything at this stage, its not under development right now. More news if that changes

why dont you stop wasting time trying to fix what will always be a flawed P2P network and put your efforts into sorting out a dedicated/Game server system. Which is something that everybody is asking for.

i cant believe that i have put my hard earned cash into something so poorly planned and executed as this game has been

Then PC Multiplay will die fairly soon because it's mostly unplayable online and Codemasters have missold the game as per the text on the back of the box which states "Dedicated Host server recommended for optimum performance".

Hi all, Sion Lenton here, honestly!

Apologies for breaking protocol and posting directly. I’ve been informed by our partners at Quazal that they will be re-booting the PC & PS3 servers between 10pm – 11pm GMT tonight (14/10/09) to so expect some downtime around then.
They are trying to keep the number of re-boots and downtime to a minimum by implementing as many changes as possible with each one, they will advise me if any more are required and I will ensure that you are informed.

Thank you for your continued perseverance and patience

Sion
If it really is you then thanks for taking some time to jump on the forums under an alias. If you were able to pass along any patch news or improvements in the game I'm sure it would have a positive effect on the community in general.

Also, if you're going to continue to post in here I hope you have broad shoulders!! Good luck.

Couldn't agree more. I am dumbfounded that an important matter as dedicated server's is just being overlooked when nearly every post in the forums is about that very subject.

wake up and smell the rose's!

Sion Lenton,

I would like to thank you for the wonderful game you have brought out on the market for the Consoles.

Please keep up the good work, and get what needs to be fixed, fixed before summer starts again so you can go to the beach and party!!

on one hand I am glad someone replied on the other I saddened that dedicated servers aren't tip top priority.

The game has good singleplayer and coop but that can only carry a game for so long. Best of luck to ya.
