I was wondering about how many hits people are taking to die online, and to kill other people online.
My first fight I was in a house, caught an enemy running straight for me and I tapped him three times in the chest at maybe 5 - 7 yards. I was surprised he was still standing at which point we both went full auto on each other maneuvering in a fight that ended with me being shot in the back by who knows. i was using the Chinese Grenadier Rifle, and up until my death I took about 6 - 7 shots spread from the chest and arms. My opponent had multiple shots to the chest and arms as well. In fact, I have yet to die or kill someone with 1 - 2 shots, though presumably this means I have never gotten a headshot. How bout ya'll?

It was pretty much lag free, and the hit indicator lit up each time I should have hit him. It takes me maybe 2 - 3 shots to kill most AI in SP, so I was wondering if online everyone can take a few more hits.

That's to simulate the (E/X) SAPI ceramic plates of the body armour I believe. It should still affect the soldier in some way. I know people who have been hit in the torso by 7.62x51mm rounds. The body armour saved their life, no doubt. But it was not a pleasant experience and makes running for cover a little difficult.

No, I have given and received more shots to the chest than that online. What guns were you using?
As far as the body armor comment that makes sense, it's there to protect you after all. Gonna have to start aiming for the neck and head more and see how that goes for me.

I've put atleast 6 bullets into targets in the chest before they drop down dead from massive blood loss lol.
Take the extra second to aim for the head, it's made the difference between me surviving a gunfight to losing one. |
