Or let us make it on the pc then download it as dlc though that sounds like it would be tricky to set up. Either way this is going to be an excellent game and im glad to see something positive coming back to the forums

I'd really like to be reading this for console members Should be a good read though.

So let me get this straight...I have a question. Can you make a mission where you and your mates on Co-op are dropped in by little birds? With a Virtual Crew manning the Little Birds? That would be sick! Correct me if I'm wrong.

This is added to the 60+ players slots and the player base filled with tanks, hmmvs, aircraft, and helos. 63 entities on one map is virutally nothing, even for no respawn small objective type missions. The smallest mission I have ever played was a no respawn 4 man special forces mission; even that contained nearly 50 "entities". You simply cannot create giant battles, or proper ambiance with 63 entities in the professional level missions that the OFP community is known for creating. Your competition is Arma2, and frankly despite its issues it can do much more than ofp2 can. We are upset with complete reason.
Have you played many ARMA missions with "60 +" players? It isn't just the numbers that are important - its weather or not its actually playable.

From what it says in the mission editor guide, you can add more, but it may not work properly. The bandwidth and hardware requirements for OFP seem pretty low, so I presume that the "limits" they advise are for the minimum specs for the game, but you can then choose to go higher if the hardware allows it.

Its the same with graphics - some people have said ARMA looks nicer - but all the gorgeous promo screenshots from ARMA, are from settings which aren't playable on any computer yet in existence!

BIS basically released a beta version of their game - Codemasters are a serious games company, so they cant do that.

there are the following particle effects:
- human catastrophic damage
- Headshot Bullet Impact (only play when head explodes)
- Limb removal Bullet impact (covers limb model swap)

nice.

I pray for a console editor......or a lottery win so I can upgrade my pc.

you can only have 63 entites spawned at any given time. You can despawn AI dead or alive if the player walks into another trigger ahead and then spawn 60 entites out of sight of the player and repeat. So you really can have a decent size battle especially if you decide you dont want dead bodies laying around for too long. You can just keep waves and waves coming if you really wanted to.

I learned a lot reading the entire manual and I plan on making many large scale battles in the editor
