I have a rather large community of pc players and we were going to host multiple servers for this game, however I am concerned with the info or lack there of for dedicated servers.
I cant see anyway that this game can support 32 players without a dedicated server. I would like to know asap as I will either promote the game to my community or I will scrap it. If there is no dedicated server support and a proper server browser then this game can be flushed down the toilet for the pc market. I have my own dedicated box, so I just need the server files. Auto matchmaking doesn't work for people at of the US or main europe cities. Here in Aus it's crap because it constantly drops us in games with Americans and Brits where we have bad connections because of distance. I'd much rather be able to select games hosted by people from with in Australia/New Zealand. |

Is it really necessary to come in here and post such idle threats to get your way? If you kept this civil and logical, you would be representing your organization at a professional level, which would reflect upon it in a more positive light.

well seriously i need confirmation for this. I have been promoting this to my community since January and I am well was goign to hype this game up so i have a load of people to play upon release, but if this is not the case I will not encourage my community to spend money on a game that we can not play together.

Now go get a beer to help calm your nerves and then come back, get back into the line, and wait with the rest of us to be given the opportunity to drink Helio's mirth.

Fozzy Bear,
Sorry I am not trying to make idle threats, i am simply saying if we are not able to have a dedicated server in this game then we wont play or buy the game. We are a pc online gaming community that plays online multiplayer games. Dedicated servers are the lifeblood of our community and I was assuming this game would have support for dedicated servers. I am very disapointed in quality FPS games that do not have proper multiplayer support. |
