I've been on my weekly troll through the interweb looking for information.
Whilst stumbling through that mess BIS calls the off topic section for OFP-DR something caught my eye: Quote:
source link etc: http://forums.bistudio.com/showthrea...85107&page=255 I'm guessing it's a mistake, surely the PC version will be total sand box so we can create new units/vehicles etc. I don't want to be forced to buy addons? isn't that what the mod community does best? Southy |

Why would you get information from the bis forums? All the Arma2 fanboys continue to say that "OFPDR doesn't have TrackIR." God only knows what other rumors are being spread as fact on their site.

I was more concerned that player made content might not be able to be used, meaning tanks/vehicles and units.
I know missions can be used. And yeah that was from the Czech Preview, it just so happens I found it on Arma forums. Last edited by southy; 30-08-2009 at 10:09 AM. |

I must be confusing the matters here sorry.
I want to know if I was to make a say a new tank, lets just say a T90, will I be able to put this in game and share it with my friends and the rest of the community. I concerned that yes I can make my own missions but not actual addons ala the T90. The Q&A seems to suggest that you 'cant' add new units/tank/etc yourself but only as a DLC. Southy |
