Yes I would like to know that too.

Is there modding tools to make our own units, vehicles, weapons and so on?

Is there terrain editing tool to make new islands?

Is there possibility to tweak some AIs values in game engine if needed?

Is it possible to include those addons in our missions?

Is it possible to make new animations?

I hope we will finaly get an official answer from developers team about that.

cya.

Well having Track IR in OFPDR is news to me. When was this confirmed? And it can't be for infantry play since there is no freelook.

As for free modding. The codies have said nil about this and so I doubt it is in.

I second. I'm growing weary of hearing rumors spread as fact that there will be no modding along other sites (not counting BIS). I'm growing increasingly worried that there has been no simple yes to this answer yet. If it's no, then they better delay the hell out the PC version to make it happen.

Interesting question. I hope Helios can answer it.

Because, as far i know, most games with "GFWL" tag on it does not allow you to mod your game.

i said most of it, because only "Fallout 3" that i know who have SDK for modder to create mod.

I doubt being under the GFWL title has anything to do with modding or modding restrictions. A lot of the GFWL titles aren't worth being moddable anyway.

Well OFPDR lacks the gun barrel and head simulation which also made operation flashpoint 1 and Arma series realistic in that department, and it was a part of the first Operation Flashpoint so i can see why they point it out, seeing as TrackIR won't work with a game with fixed movement for the whole body/gun.

It would result in you controlling your crosshair with your head..

I for one dont really care about being able to move my head as infantry anyways.
If i want to look one way i rather have my gun pointing in that general direction aswell.
But with vehicles its friggin great. Especially helis..

Still I'd like confirmation that we can add player made content being addons and not just user made missions etc.

I think that helios's silence in this topic is more than clear confirmation that we can't.
