Single player only achievements, also I do believe there was a thread about achievements in the ideas/sugestions area a few months ago.

Should most certainly only be achievements for the ''hardcore mode'' how the game should be played, or if there is for the ''easy mode" then it shouldnt be a lot, this game should be built around how flashpoint should be played in my opinion, i dont think it will discourage people to play it neither, not like other games where you have to pump 100 bullets into 1 person and people will probably grow more towards the idea of realism.

There is now more money in the console gaming than the PC due to the costs to maintain PC upgrades, more and more every year are moving to the console. Roll on Xbox 360 release, one £40.00 fee with no £200 spec upgrades. Do you think CM are going to make a game to keep old OFP fans happy? no they go with the money > CONSOLE < Its business!! whats wrong with a achievements?...is trying to do something 'childish'...stop complaining...every 360 game has them...
achievements like run around an enemy and shoot both his eyes out is stupid but achievements for finishing missions of not getting injured once in a mission are fine un 'childish' achievements

They have to be in for consoles, both MS and Sony haven't given devs a choice on this one. There's no one who "owns" PC's so there's no one who can say that they have to be in.
If I'm honest I like trophies, I'm closing in on the 300 mark, but it's not that I buy games specifically for trophies, I just happen to unlock them as I go along. Most games give you a trophy for every level/mission you complete, then there are one's such as completing a level using only certain weapons, number of headshots etc. If it's just the single player then it doesn't affect multiplayer. There's usually one for playing a co-op game with x number of people. Stuff like that doesn't have an impact on multiplayer, so I'm not concerned.

Achivements should be: an unlock for every mission/ plus every mission on coop, then to complete training, then most games have somethink like play a sertain level on insane difficultys like customise your game so when you play that level you only have a single shot sniper rifle when the missions best suited for a support type class or rifleman. and the next achivements would be to play multiplayer as PLA.

Ultra Nutter is right sum achievements are really good take time and make a easy games challenging. I see alot of you harcore fans not liking it but if CM do it right and make the achievents hard then yes its a good thing.

This shouldnt turn into a PC Vs Console fight lol, think the point they are making is people wont play it for the game and putting acheivements in could spoil it for pc, of course there will be for 360 everyone knows that, i just hope they make u focus on the game being realistic not like "kick a chicken"
