Default MP Party/Lobby system?

I know a lot of the console players are concerned about the numbers of multiplayer, 4v4, 8v8, 16v16. That's all well and good but for me the bigger concern is whether the party and lobby system for Flashpoint will be any good or run smoothly. No matter how big the teams are, the multiplayer game will be ruined before it is even started with a poor party system. In my opinion Halo and Call of Duty have had the smoothest and easiest multiplayer lobbies, they work flawlessly and make the multiplayer accessible even for first time players. Now that the numbers have been confirmed what kind of lobby do you think there will be? I'm hoping that it won't run like BFBC where you get split up from your squad randomly between games and can't communicate with the people you actually want to hear talk. Or that it won't be like Gears of War 2 where you had to wait a half hour to get in to a game with your full party for a full month.

4v4 is disappointing, I agree, but I can deal with that. I would rather have a smooth multiplayer experience than big numbers. I just don't want to have to quit before I can even get started.

On a side note, I tried searching for this, but all I saw were 4v4 threads.

After the coop mission/multiplayer round ends, please return the players back to the lobby screen.

Some other games just dump the players back to the multiplayer menu and the host has to setup a new lobby and invite everybody back in again.

That's what i hated about Gears, you could play the same people for a couple rounds, but after a few games you'd just be booted out and have to restart the matchmaking search. It was an annoyance and just got way too repetitive. I'd like to have a set up like CoD because you could stay in the same lobby as long as you'd like and people could just come and go.

This is a huge concern for me as well. A few friends and I picked up BF1943 just to have something to play while we wait for DR. The squad system in it is like BFBC, you get split from your friends after a few rounds. It's frustrating as hell!

It has the same effect as multiplayer disconnects.

In the end, the friends won't wait for the re-invites and they would go play something else.

I'd personally like to worry about how the multiplayer set up works before worrying about the number of players, any size teams can make for a good game.
