Default New review (3/6)

Here you go: http://www1.vg.no/spill/artikkel.php?artid=573130

It is in Norwegian, so there is really no point to go there. This review is based on a dice. It got a 3 of 6.

I'm from Norway, so i'll try to sum it up for you, in a short version of the good and bad (because the review is mostly saying what's been said before):

Good stuff:

- A realism level not many game can match.

(He actually doesn't point out anything else that's good about the game :S)

Bad stuff: He says there is 2 big problems with the game.

- That there is no learning part, where you learn the controls, and there is no learning on how to attack a crowded area etc. He also says that "Things that is very imporant to suceed in OF- Noone tells you."

- He says that is ok that you may need up to 2 hours to complete a mission by being sneaky in a big town, get information, and get an overview over the area etc. But the problem is that it doesn't feel rewarding enough afterwards. And by that it takes away the motivation of keep on going.

This was tested on the PS3.

In my personal opinion, this i the WORST review i've read in my whole life, because: He doesn't say anything at all about sounds, graphics, online, or CO-OP. Neither does he say much about the gameplay.

But he says that the people that are really intrested will like it.

That review did not even make me 1% nervous about the game. I still can't wait for this game

The best review is from someone who actually plays the game for more than just a couple of hours. Most reviewers, paid ones like IGN, Teamxbox.com, Gamespot, etc...don't put much time into the game. They probably play about an hour's worth on the single player, then hop on multiplayer for probably 10 minutes, then they write their review.

A game like this probably can't be fairly reviewed with an hour's playing time. You have to play it from start to finish, even if it means doing it on the easiest mode, to get the fairest account.

I'd wait to see what people personally say about the game if anyone had doubts, or rent it.

I like the idea of haveing to spend like an hour getting ready for a heavy battle. Instead of just pulling a COD and just going bizerk. Dont know what you think should be rewarding after completing a mission though, Maybe unlock a new gun? a pot of gold at the end of the path?
