Aussie Assault Mod Art Competition

Figured this would be the best place to put this:

Hi everyone. As many of you are aware, I am working on a mod called Aussie Assault. I'm working on it alone to learn the ways of 3D modelling and graphic art. Nevertheless, I've recieved many offers from people to help me and I feel a little bad for declining all of them. Currently I have temporarily halted work to sort out a few other things that require my full attention, so I figured 'why not let the community have a crack at it'?

Without further adoo, I present to you the Aussie Assault Mod Art Competition. Below is my current mod logo:

Pretty bland an basic right? It was really just a 5 min job using Paint. In preperation for my expansion to the ArmA II forums, I want someone to make me a brand new logo! The incentive? After OFP: DR's release and once enough work has been done on the mod, the winner get's a guarenteed position among my beta testers, plus will be granted access to the finished product before final release

Here is what I'm looking for:

• At least part of it must be in a 'green and gold' color scheme (Australian national colours), though the shade of the colour is up to the individual designer;
• I want it to 'capture the mood' of combat in some way;
• Must be appropriate size for a logo. That's up to interpretation I suppose, but you can use my 'origional' as a guide for the rough size (not necissarily shape) that I'm after.

In addition, due to the mod being for both OFP: DR and Arma II, one of the following rules must also be followed:

1. put both the OFP: DR and the ArmA II logo's in the logo;
2. make 2 seperate logo's dedicated to each, but with similar 'themes'; or;
3. don't use a game specific logo in the logo.

Final desision will be made by me at a date and time to be advised. Be creative, think outside the box. Good luck

Congradulations! If you're not among those throwing the game in the bin then you are now guarenteed a spot as a beta tester for my mod (should you choose to accept) and will have access to the finished mod before final release! I know it's not the most spectacular prize, but I mod on a $0 budget

A logo. Basically, an image I can post that identifies the mod. It's just something for posting in forums etc.

Just make it to what you see as being appropriate. I'm hoping to see many differant styles to choose from

Here's a update to it, with embroidered text and warmer colors. I guess that'll be my final entry.

EDIT: I lied, its easy to throw in other pictures, so I did a few versions when I got bored. It's good practice "extending" pictures by making new terrain anyway.

Because I'm going to be expanding to the ArmA II forums, I can't use a logo dedicated to OFP: DR. So, a few alternative's are avaliable:

1. put both the OFP: DR and the ArmA II logo's in the logo;
2. make 2 seperate logo's dedicated to each, but with similar 'themes'; or;
3. don't use a game specific logo in the logo.

Rule number 2:

Looks too happy and cheerful for my liking
Not trying to show favoratism here with helping Aussie and not Ryu, it's just that this one doesn't stand a chance, sorry
