It's time to talk to the Community Team!
How it works: We'll be asking you questions, and here in our thread, you tell us: What comes to mind; what you think; how you feel; etc, as it relates to the question(s) at hand. Ground Rules: Before we get started, let's lay down three ground rules if you're going to participate in the thread. These ground rules also have a few samples to help clarify participation: #1 - The single most important rule to remember while participating in this thread is: No personal attacks. If you disagree with the opinion of another participant, that's fine, but no one can make anyone agree to their opinion. Thus, please refrain from commenting on the personal qualities of others who offer their responses to the question(s). Personal attacks go against forum guidelines. Questions asked will be subjective, and some users will have a lot to say related to their opinion, while others may only define things in short phrases. All forms are acceptable. Hypothetical Example: Faya "Do you like ice cream?" Player 1 "I hate ice cream because it's too tough to scoop" Acceptable "I like it. It's not that bad to scoop once you let it sit on the counter for a little bit before you try to dip it Player 1." Acceptable "I like it but I have the same problem as Player 1. What brand is it Player 1?" Acceptable "I don't think it's too hard, I never have any problem with it. I like ice cream." Unacceptable "That's cause you're a noob..." Unacceptable "You don't have enough experience with scooping to be talking about how difficult it is" Unacceptable "How about you back that opinion up with some numbers. If you can't prove it don't bring it here" Everyone has the right to offer their response to the question(s), whether they have scientific data to back up their feelings, or they simply just "feel" a certain way towards the question(s). #2 - Participate as well as discuss. If you would like to join in the discussion, please be sure to offer your response to the questions as well, in addition to your conversation with any other thread participants Hypothetical Example: Faya "What's your favourite colour?" Player 1 "Blue" Player 2 "Green" Acceptable "Purple... hey Player 2, how come you like Green?" Unacceptable "hey Player 2 how come you like Green?" Please be sure to take the time to offer your own opinion of the question(s) before you engage in a discussion about other people's opinions in the thread. #3 - Don't recycle the above hypothetical examples in your responses as it spams the thread. -------------------------- Let's Get Started! -------------------------- 1: We currently have two 'mini games' in LOTRO; tag and freeze tag. If you could add a third, what would it be? 2: What do you spend most of your time doing in-game? 3: How many characters do you currently have? How many are at the level cap?

Hobnanigans would be great if you could make it work. 2: What do you spend most of your time doing in-game? At the moment mainly prospecting, IXP quests and some deed grinding. Just waiting for new content and hoping my kin mates will return, really. 3: How many characters do you currently have? How many are at the level cap? Seven and six of them are 60.

As has already been mentioned, if Hobnanigans worked, that would be especially cool. Other "race" type mini-games. So start people off on their horse at, say, the Bree Fields, and then have them race to bree gate on their horse. Or other places. Or a chain of places. Another session-play (similar to chicken-play) wouldn't go amiss either. 2: What do you spend most of your time doing in-game? It used to be grinding radiance armour for my characters, until I had an epiphany and realised that it was perhaps one of the most tedious things I could be doing with my time, and so I've more or less stopped doing it. I most reliably log on to do the in League run with my Main at the moment, and then just see who else in my kin is on, and if they need help with anything. 3: How many characters do you currently have? How many are at the level cap? 7 characters, 5 of which are level 60, 1 at 40 and 1 at 37. |

Not interested, never play them. 2: What do you spend most of your time doing in-game? Exploring (when there's something new to explore) and raiding. 3: How many characters do you currently have? How many are at the level cap? I basically concentrate on my one main character, a l.60 Hunter. However, I also have a warden whom I am slowly building up - currently l.33.

Didnt know about those? dont really know 2: What do you spend most of your time doing in-game? 1.Instances/Raids/Ettens depending on kin numbers and mood. 2.Chatting with kin. 3.Solo play : Crafting (Lothlorien shields)(love it when I finally make one and done with grind, not that I love grinding =p) and resource instances (when I find the motivation, music does wonders sometimes) 4. standing in the 21st and logging after half an hour, when I dont want to grind. 3: How many characters do you currently have? How many are at the level cap? 7. 3.

1: We currently have two 'mini games' in LOTRO; tag and freeze tag. If you could add a third, what would it be?
I'd like something I could do while I'm waiting on other members of my fellowship or raid to finish what they are doing. Not something I need to gather a fellowship for. The promo mini-games for Moria would be ideal, so why not put them in game? Aside that is, from the reason that I would bankrupt myself at Axe-Toss. 2: What do you spend most of your time doing in-game? Waiting for fellowship/raid members to finish what they are doing and get together... well not really, I probably spend more time grinding the same old quests and crafting instances to gain IXP. One suggestion though is to make the grind instances more variable (somehow, anyhow), and yes I know it's more difficult to do with a more detailed environment than other games. Suck it up, us players will never be less demanding. But waiting for OTHER PEOPLE is the most frustrating part - give me something to do, grind even while waiting. Something I can give up instantly when we're all finally gathered. Fishing was better than nothing, but you can't even fish in most assembly locations in Moria. 3: How many characters do you currently have? How many are at the level cap?[/QUOTE] One sixty, plus a mule or three. Really as long as you limit our storage, we players will always use mules. Accept it, how much infrastructure cost would it really take to let us have more storage in our houses - which are after all, private instances? Last edited by Cwendeolyn; 09-08-2009 at 10:36 PM. |

Bring Hobnanigans back! Please?
I spend my time with raids/instances and freepside PvMP, and I do this with 2 lvl 60 characters.
