Cool Anyone interested in buying my Rig?

I'm thinking about selling my PC. Spec's below, not sure how much to ask for, so if anyone has any ideas.... I may consider splitting and selling the parts;

  • Core 2 duo E6600 (2.4Ghz) Clocked to very stable 3.4Ghz, using a Tuniq Tower cooling system.
  • Asus P5N32-E SLi nForce 680, 1500mhz FSB (again superbly stable).
  • 2 x 1gig GEiL Dual channel RAM (PC6400 i think, not 100%), not clocked, but can be easily.
  • 2 x GeForce 8800 GTS 640Mb PCIe 16x in SLi config. Again not clocked, but hey.... :-)
  • Auzentech Mystique Dolby Digial Live surround sound card.
  • 3 x 80gig, 2 x 250gig HDD SATA various Arrays possible. Currently 2 x 80 raid 0, 2 x 250 raid 0 and a standalone 80.
  • Corsair 560W (iirc) modular power supply
  • nice case, virtually screwless, cost me nearly £100.
I think thats about it. So what do you guys think? how much should I be asking for? Anyone interested? Any more Q's?

Will it run JGC?

Seriously though, I have no idea on desktop costs these days. Sounds a nice setup though.

hehe yeah it does rock. I'm just getting a new setup, partly due to work and play reasons, so it's going to be surplus.

Oh and I am open to offers, and may well let it go cheap, coz i simply wont need it!!

Nice rig, but tbo I wouldn’t touch 2nd hand over clocked stuff. ok i know its only the CPU but hey.....

I do over clock my own but I wouldn’t buy someone else's for love or money. but thats just me this is a fine rig and well worth a haggle.

2nd hand overclocked, yet still running cooler than stock speed on stock cooler.....
nVidia stuff..? whats wrong with that?!?
Cost of HDD at the moment? why would you even worry about the size of drives in it?

Tell you wot. instead of slagging off my stuff and being negative, thus putting people off, why not just keep quiet if you dont want it?

without slagging off your kit the new Intel chips sets pee all over anything Nividia have past or presant and have you seen the price of ATI's new 4850 or indeed the 4870 which dont just pee but crap from a great hight on anything Nvidia have out for the same price.

Still a nice rig though if a had a spare few bob i would think about it.

M.. nvidia isn't absolutely terrible, just terribly confusing... it seems like nothing is standardized in powers of eight, which seems unstable, but then again im not much of a computer science major. umm they use onlder chipsets and overclock them lots of times, or add a new porcessor to an older chipset (8800gts VS 9000 or whatever) it really seems like they're really only trying to sell a board while it still has profit in it.

Ati while being the runner up for the past years, recently took top with 4000 HD's and when they make features in response to Nvidia(SLI) like Crossfire, they really like to 1-up Nvidia in many ways. Also, the AMD merger really smoothed any edges they had left out.

Like them for the same reason i like blizzard, when they make something they make sure it works, and works well.

*****Just to let you know im not meaning to ultimately bash Nvidia even though i am doing so. I am as you can tell pretty much an ATI/AMD Fanboy, and really wouldnt pick Nvidia OR Intel over ATI/AMD Its always been for me a truly premium product at a cheap price with good service, so i really dont see the point in switching and learning a whole new field of play because mine does what i need it to do. Reasoning enough through and through.***************
