Default Anime reloaded

Hey there,

there is no more anime thread on the Offtopic, so I thought I'd create one. First good news:
Da Capo is going to have a second season! Shinsen already submitted the trailer:

Enjoy.

How did I miss this thread? I've been looking forward to the second season for months now, the first managed to worm it's way into my rather tiny list of favorites which is no small feat. I've been going off my anime of late with about 7 or 8 shows that I can't be bothered to watch sitting on my Drives (only downloading in case I get really bored and run out of books to read really) but It'll be great to have something worth following once again being released.

I'm pretty excited. Ep 1 is at 85% and still downloading.

I have it somewhere myself but I'm not going to watch it until I have maybe 4 or 5 in a row to sit down and get through, I've gone off watching several series at once piecemeal, I much prefer big long chunks. I'm more of a boxtorrents man than an animesuki one.

Yeah, I saw your list on boxtorrents. It's massive.
I don't have the neccessary bandwith to download large chunks of anime at once, so I'm usually downloading single eps and watching them one after another. It's also a matter of how much time I have for watching. I can only use my comp on the weekends so no anime all-nighters for me. :S

That list is ancient though, I don't think I've uploaded anything to Box in over a year now, mostly use it to download things that can't be gotten anywhere else. Though I have unlimited download/upload on my ISP so I tend to make use of it, I've always got something going. It's just now that I don't watch as much it piles up in the unwatched folder, I'm sure it'll be a godsend when at Uni next year and I'm downloading nothing, I'll slowly work my way through it.

Currently watching Texnolyze for example, and it has taken me about a week to get to ep 12.

You may be pleased to know then that I (allbeit after about 10 days of on and off watching) have just seen Berserk and thought it was simply fantastic. Not often I go for the blood&Guts shounen types, but this was had a great plot, some depth and a whole load of impending doom and darkness.

I think I may have to even read the manga to finish the story after being left hanging at the end (or the start as it turned out )
