Note regarding full retail keys

As the important day looms, some of you might be favoured by the Royal Mail postal service or blessed by your retailers and receive your full retail copy before official launch, (Friday 3rd March).

If this is the case, please note that you will not be able to register your full retail key until the servers are converted into full retail. If you try, you will get a 'key is not valid' error message.

Please try to remember this on the day!

What happens if you don't get your retail version in time? I'm from Germany and enjoyed playing since beta. Amazon.de does not ship the retail version until March 23. So in the meantime I am cannot play?

Could it be possible to get a temporary key if you show your order?

If you are playing on the English Server, you will have until the 8th of March to enter your Retail key.

As far as i remember the French/German servers open on the 17th of March??

Hence, from the 8th of March...if you have not entered a valid Retail Key on the English server, your account will be frozen (not deleted) until you do.

One thing i would like to ask is...

When we activated our Headstart key we went to COG and chose the normal DDO from the dropdown window.

Which one do we use when activating the Retail???

If you have activated a head start key and you want to input a full retail key, then when you log into your COG account, you will see a new link option to the right that asks if you wish to do this.

People that have not registered a pre-order head start key will not have this extra option.

Just a stupid question,

As i have bought my box from play.com and i live in france.

I know that i will not receive my box for Friday.
So how will it work ?

I mean i have the head start preorder so will i be able to play with my head start key till i get my retail key ?
Or i will not be able to play when friday come if i don't get my box with retail key inside ?

To be clear : does the head start key will stop on friday and must pass to retail key or i can play more few days with head start key ?

I wont be able to play for 1 week+ after head-starts end

Takes long for package from UK to Czech and they send it on friday

You will have 5-days grace period in which to input your retail keys before the account is frozen. That's 5 extra days from Friday
