We’re aware that many of you are eagerly waiting for the release of the next update for DDO (Module 11) and wanted to give you an update on this going live in EU.

At this point the update for EU is still some time off - we are actively working with Turbine to work out the best solution for Module 11 and expect to have a plan within the next few weeks that we are able to communicate with you. The main reason it is taking time is that we are working on long term plans for DDO, rather than simply dealing with the short term.

Once we have more clarity on the plans and some final decisions we will provide more information to you all. We apologise for any delays with content that come about from this.

Wir wissen, dass viele von euch gespannt auf das nächste Update für DDO (Modul 11) warten und wollten euch über den neuesten Stand der Dinge bezüglich des Erscheinens in Europa informieren.

Zur Zeit dauert es in Europa mit dem Update noch etwas länger – wir arbeiten aktiv mit Turbine zusammen, um die beste Lösung für Modul 11 zu finden und hoffen, dass wir innerhalb der nächsten Wochen einen Plan erarbeitet haben, welchen wir euch präsentieren können. Der Hauptgrund für die Verzögerung ist, dass wir auf langfristige Pläne für DDO setzen statt auf kurzfristige Lösungen.

Sobald wir mehr Klarheit über die Pläne und einige endgültige Entscheidungen haben, werden wir euch darüber informieren. Wir möchten uns für jegliche Verzögerungen bezüglich neuer Inhalte aufgrund dieser Umstände entschuldigen.

Nous savons que vous êtes nombreux à attendre avec impatience la prochaine mise à jour de DDO (le Module 11) et nous souhaitons vous tenir informés de la situation en Europe.

En ce moment, la mise à jour pour l’Union Européenne est toujours en suspens. Nous travaillons dur avec Turbine pour élaborer la meilleure solution pour le Module 11 et nous espérons arriver à un plan que nous vous communiquerons dans les semaines à venir. Ce retard est également dû au fait que nous travaillons aussi sur des objectifs à long terme pour DDO, et non seulement sur le court terme.

Lorsque nous en saurons davantage sur ces plans et que nous aurons pris une décision définitive, nous vous en informerons. Nous vous prions de nous excuser pour tout retard sur le nouveau contenu suite à cette situation.

I wonder if it's as cunning as a fox what used to be Professor of Cunning at Oxford University but has moved on and is now working for the U.N. at the High Commission of International Cunning Planning?

Thank-you for a least putting up something on the forums, I am sure I am not the only one who has felt dispontent about the lack of communication we have had since DDO:U was launched in the US and the ATARIA law suit.

When you can give us further information it would be appreciated, even if it is to say a date when you can give us a defintive answer or information on what is happening to us.

So once again, thank-you for something acknowledging that we are once again awaiting a new module... at some point...

Well at least you replied and answered, so for that at least we should be grateful - while at the same time not telling us anything and not giving us any time scales.

FYI DDO EU does not have a long term life for your long term plan if you do not do something to deal with the immediate issues.

OK I will go out on a limb here -- this looks very much to me as if active preparations to release Ultimate to Europe are *finally* in a state of progress.

Atari and Turbine have been provided with a Feb. 10th deadline to report to the NY Court on progress of their current negociations. News concerning the dispute will therefore necessarily be forthcoming soon (I mean RL soon not the "Turbine Time" version ), and it is in no-one's interest as far as I can see that it should be bad news.

These long term plans that you speak of, not to mention the official trilingual means of communication chosen, are furthermore simply NOT indicative of bad news incoming IMO.

I have little doubt that this expression of opinion will be ridiculed by some fellow players. Please do me the courtesy at least of bringing some sense of humour to the table when you do so

Update 3 does not excite me very much. It looks like a complete bugfest to me.

Well its good to know that we will be put out of our misery, one way or another. I cant imagine turbine is very happy to have special builds/language translations for 1-200 European players either.
