Thanks for the info Satine,
Just a logical question I have which the answer is probably not your fault.
Why is DDO publishing other games? I mean I realize Codemasters is doing them both, but isnt it also in its intrest that people stay in DDO?

good question.

if the other Codemaster's games advertise DDO events in the same way then i guess it's part of the company advertising planning.
if not, then...

Indeed. As Codemasters currently has 4 MMOs, we like to advertise what's going on with all of them. We believe that if there's news then you guys might like to know just in case you fancy going or trying something. If you don't want to know then you can just ignore it

In the case of the festival we've broadcast across all our sites because it's a nice opportunity to go see LOTRO and ArchLord if you're in the area. It also means that in addition to press we can get some real fans along

very nice. i wish i could be there too.
i am actually thinking of going to a new game and LOTR may be good, since it will have all the good things of DDO and not background rules for me to nag about them being wrongly implemented

i registered for beta and i think i will try it when it is released.
i would be interested in seeing some feedback here for this event and all the first impressions about the game.

i just saw 2 movies from LOTR in game gameplay.
the whole setup looks really amazing.
but the battle system is exactly like WoW. i hit. you hit. i hit. you hit.
some people may love this. i personally don't fancy that.
a pity cause the rest seemed really amazing. i am sure it is a lot worth it to try this game for those who like the WoW fighting style.

so, how about Archlord? i have to see its movies, too...
