Default Spring Attack

Is Spring Attack an active or passive feat?

Can Spring Attack be used while wearing heavy armor?

Only CERTAIN answers please (possibly from the staff).
Thank you!

I've got it and it can't be activated or used.
But it is in a SQUARE box; it should be in an OCTAGONAL one.

The second question arises from the fact that in PnP Dungeons & Dragons this feat can't be used while wearing heavy armor.
In DDO nothing similar is mentioned so probably it CAN be used with a full plate on...

I'm looking for the correct answer to these questions.

Arkzein told me this...

"Moving while attacking incurs a -4 penalty to attacks.

Spring attack negates this."

Could've been changed, but I think this is the way it works.

Ok, but is this effect always active? And when using heavy armor?

It should be a passive feat. And yes, even the PnP spring attack works with heavy armour this one should too.

Link doesn't work.

Edit: My fault here, mixed up some PnP 3.0 and a bug in DDO. Spring attack will not work with heavy armour. And nobody is perfect, so don't expect perfect answers.
