hey all

Ive been sent here from stormreach

well i decided to do with Cm wants us to do and leave DDO

so where can i start OMG how big is this place !!!! i want longer legs

i have real trouble in finding where you ments to go . EG Elf hunter quests was to find some guy near the ruins i spend ages running around there looking for this gys he was no where to be seen and then after i an hour afew /advice i find a satchel . i mean how you meant to find a tiny bag on a land scape of like miles :P

any how in general is there a mark you can add to your map for each quest or and i doomed to wander around for ages to fine these quests?

Hi, and welcome.
Usually there should be a description of where the thing you're looking for is in the Quest Log, eg East of [well-known location]. Otherwise you'll have to ask in advice or ask people around if they've seen your target, there's no way to find them using the map (apart from following directions) The mini-map should show important NPCs as a Ring, so if you spot one while wandering around the area go check it out. Have floating names on (toggle with N) too, helps to spot things like that satchel

Another resource, if you are not hugely keen on finding your objectives yourself, is this map:

It shows the locations even of satchels, so your doom is not written in the stars. Though often I find /advice can be quicker even than tabbing out and looking at the map, depending on the number of players in your area.

I recall that quest - one other thing to look at is that quest items glow or pulse slightly, which should make it slightly easier to see the satchel.
