I have been Starf**ked plz tell me its not this game?

I have just downloaded the demo which is very good, but i appear to have been somewhat inconvenienced by Starforce.

Can someone confirm that this demo and game has starforce protection, i hope not as its another game i carn't play.

Plz just confirm this, i have had bad expierience before with starforce stuff.

Just another display of how people blame all their problems on StarForce. Found themselves a scapegoat.

Hehe... Why would they need starforce in a demo? To protect it from piracy? yarrr!

Actually, if a game is protected, all public versions of it have to be protected the same way. Otherwise, it will be extremely easy to crack - just substitute the executable.

Hi,

I am not using starforce as a scapegoat for problems, i have numerous games that i paid for and can't play because starforce refuses to work properly on my system X3 being one, shops refuse to take the games back because they assume you are a pirate (which the majoritory of people think) i now have expensive game gathering dust.

I just wish that you are given the choice when loading these games to agree to starforce or not which is my personal choice it is not displayed on the game box's either so you don't know untill the game is installed that u have starforce.

This is no attack on starforce or codemasters, just that more and more games and demo's have starforce and i am missing out playing some great games. I can not afford to change my system to one which starforce does not affect so i am stuck.

Well, apparently Vista does not support Starforce, so that might be the good time for starforce to die.

And by the way X3 is supposed to get a SF removal patch sometime soon, since they already released the SF-free version via Steam.

By the way, X3 is not that great once you get past the "OMG THESE GRAPHICS ARE INSANE!!!" part.
