Guild looking for members

We're a tiny guild with about a handfull players. Usually playing in the evenings/nights at weird times. This means that there are 2-3 guildmembers online in average in the evenings.

The reason why we're looking for more guildmates is that we don't want to be cannonfodder in the Vault of Night for the überplayers and each time end up with no loot. 2 out of 12 aren't good enough odds in our opinion...

We plan to go through enough times to let each guildmember receive a decent reward. How often, we must discuss in the guild when the time is.

Our profile is that we're pretty casual players. We're competent without being pros. No one is gimp and no one is über. We don't roleplay. Neither do we rush or farm. Most of us comes from Denmark and we're 24 to 29 of age.

To us it's important to have fun. Making jokes and not taking ourselves to seriously. Irony is great! None of us enjoy playing with people who run straight into trouble and can't follow advice. Those who run through a dungeon like some automated timeset device aren't us either.

As an example, all in the guild loves the following bio: "Actually my name is Conan. My mom is sooo stupid. (Onnac)" Unfortunately he's not member of our guild.

We know what we're doing (most of the time

) but take the time to actually experience what we go through. We chat in English and so must you. It's important that nobody feels left outside the language barrier.

My own main character is Sonar Saturn. A human paladin currently level 8. She's a great semitank. Trying to keep partyfellows alive by taking aggro and heal them. Saves against the most and kills the rest.

(And I'm Maria, age 25 and from Denmark.)
No one in the guild is above level 8 at the moment. And we don't plan to rush into the Vault until we're level 10, 9 at least. On my behalf I can say that I want to do South Excavations and Tempest Spine first.

In our guild we stick out for eachother. We give away items that can help eachother. And I promise you, I will do what I can to take you though East Excavations part III.

So if you want to give our little Guild of Eternel DOOM and DAMNATION!!! a shot, please feel free to send a /tell to Jakobi, Hesh, Minipong or Sonar.

Hopefully the other guildmembers will take the time to write their opinion and a bit about themselves in this thread too. And hopefully some humorous mature player feels appealed by this.

Fen, there is huge potential for our guilds to merge. Although I am english, most of the guild I belong to are Scandinavian. Your outlook on gameplay matches ours very well. Our only rule is "play for fun" or as it is sometimes written "have a good time".

If you find you cannot recruit enough people to reach "critcal mass" send a tell to Lanariel, our guildmistress, myself, Nathan (Mimble) or Raster. There are other guild officers, but one of us are likely to be online, especially in the evening.

Even if you are not looking to merge, contact us because we can make joint groups.

We are also a handfull of players (swedish) that plays for fun in the evenings. The guild is named Liches & Witches.

We are all 30+ in age and like to explore the surroundings in a quest. And since we all played pnp D&D for 15+ years we like to share the loot in the group and give it to a friend in need as long as we also can whine about it a little...

Even if we don´t need to merge guilds we will like to play with both fen and Nathan. So if you are only a few players on in the evening look out for the following characters and send a tell:

Archibalde (paladin 5) which is my character.
The other are: Ewelyn, fighter 6, Zebast, cleric 5, Loothar Sorcerer 3 Bard 2.

We are also waiting for a new friend next week that just bought a new computer to join us.

We can chat in english, but when we play otherwise vi use Skype in group talk mode. That way we can also have fun harrassing each other via live talk...

Perhaps we should consider an alliance of small guilds.

ClanUK is only small in the game, but we have a core group of players (about 8 at the moment) and would love to have a list of friends to call on to run the high content. We have a private Vent server we use for chat which - if things work out well and we can kick this off - we could discuss opening up to none guild folks for use in alliance based groups etc....

Give me a tell her or ingame if theres any interest. (zedania is me in game)

Yesterday we tried to join our forces. I sent /tells to all names mentioned in this thread I could see were online. But you Swedes didn't react! I guess you were drunk due the king's birthday and all.

Well, we got Nathan Mimble into a party consisting of the high leveled members of our guild and a very nice meatshield from Spain.

And ventured into Delera's for glory and fabulous loot.
Actually not the best quest to take Nathan into, since Delera's is one of the most secret door and trapless quests. And he's a rogue/ranger. Nevertheless we enjoyed ourselves. Eventhough our cleric, Minipong, could have been a bit more alert.

Still we went thorugh without any casualties. (Would not have been a pretty sight if we got partywiped *LoL*)

So hopefully we will eventually get in touch with the rest of you. I will certainly add Nathan to my friends list, so we'll can easily find eachother when in need for a qualified party.

Our guild is very interested in making contact with the guys from Liches & Witches. You sound to be our Swedish clones.

Complete with whining, bitching and taunting. We also use a chat system. Ours is just Ventrilo instead of Skype.

Hopefully we'll see you all in the future. Our sorcerer will happily blast some fireballs and our cleric will happily boost you. With the proper amount of whining.

i run a small guild of players from the uk and across europe that are also on odd hours mainly throughout the the night although im more a 24/7 player im currently helping as many people as possible get to part 5 on Vault of the night so i can organise a raid on the dragon loot i co-ordinated a raid on tempest spine over the weekend as a dummy run and all went well apart from one or two minor hiccups over people getting lost as the map system in tempest is kindof non existent in that it dont work (i do hope the maps in the vault 5 & 6 work) if the axe in part one of Vault of the night is anything like the dragon loot then we are in for some treats +5 Flaming Greataxe with Vorpal & adamtine as well as keen i even used it on some of the trolls in the quest before having to hand it back in before leaving the dungeon(that hurt)
Part 2 i found to be quite easy and part3 we seem to have worked out a strategy for and its getting easier part 4 well there are many areas that can go wrong on this one and i believe this dungeon will have some major changes before long although i like it the way it is, its got a bit of everything but i know its causing the gm's a lot of grief i wont say any more so as not to spoil it if any of you guys want help on the vault then send me a tell and ill do my best to help out.planning a raid sometime this week so if your interested in raiding with people reguarly and fairly then get in touch.

Certainly interested Baldric, the guild I am in seems to have about 30 or so members but there is only about 12 - 16 online at anyone time (so I guess there are a few alts there). However we do have a good number of level 8-10s of most classes and people are keen to raid, or so they say.

Send me a message if you are organising something and I will see who I can recruit for a raid.
