Default Idea of Release/Beta?

Do we have any idea of what stage of production this game is in?
as I understand the game is having the British version run by codemasters correct? so the Beta will merly be stress testing and localisation tests by the time the beta reachs here right?

Just wondering when we can look at the start of Beta Phases, how many Phases we're looking at and an approximate release date

While nobody knows the actual dates, speculation is that LOTRO will be released in late fall. For this to happen, Turbine would be ramping up for beta .. like now. Which is what they are doing. As for Euros in the North American beta ... who knows. I know of a few that already have beta certificates that they won last year at LOTROG. So at least they will get in the early betas.

Watch LotroSource.com for information as it happens.

Ah, good to hear LOTRO is still around. This is one of the MMORPG games I'm really looking forward to.

aye after a period of no news, it's good to see that things are still forging ahead. The game looks very promising indeed.

Its a good think codemasters got the EU side of this, I loved how they handeled DDO.

Lets just hope they can start their preparations for the Beta a bit sooner than they did for DDO, tho it was no fault of theirs

Indeed, I'm very curious as to what this game will bring us. So... Bring it on!!

It's good to be excited about the beta but it's not really there to "sample" a game for free before release. It's more like work and certainly frustrating at times. You shouldn't judge a game by any stage of beta, RFO is certainly a good example for that.
