Default Resist?!

Is it just me, or have the resist rating on mobs gone trough the roof since vol 3 went live? On my burg I seem to constantly get resist on addle and riddle. Its really annoying, it feels like champs clobber was pre vol 3 (havent tested it after, but I know it was buffed), really unreliable. Either the resist went up, or Im just on a streak of unluckiness.

... There! I'm not the only one!
I noticed it was extremely hard for me to get a crit done too, my crit reaction simply wouldn't open. And I got a LM friend who said everything he was done was getting resisted. Might be good to have feedback from other people.

Hmm can't say I've noticed an extraordinary mez resist rate tonight. Although my LM does use a -2200 physical resist rating book, so it may not be a fair comparison.

I do hope if the resists did go up it's just a bug and not intentional.

I only did Vol 3 Book 1 this evening, and saw alot of resists on my LM, for damage skills... [tactical], didnt have any resists for Daze/root though.

Those were mainly in the skirmish instances, other than that the normal mobs in the world outside were dying as usual... I forgot to put my LI points back in

Resists were increased, and good thing it is. A slight, and needed, nerf to King Tactical.

Is it in the patch notes? Youre right though, and probably means tactical classes have to spend points getting their resist legacies maxed, and penetration enhanced...
although only if it actually works - personally I run without any resistance legacies on my LM book, and hardly get any resists...

I noticed this too. In some cases it was a bit annoying but not too bad. I can't remember reading any patch notes on it, if it's a bug it's not a major one.

It's ridiculous. It's not that bad on my LM with all 3 resist legacies maxed (although still far worse than it was pre-patch), but as a burg the resists on dust/twist/riddle/addle etc. are just insane.

I am experiencing the same thing. Mobs, even grey ones, seem to resist a lot.

My minstrel and lore-master have both experienced over 50% resist over a (small) time period, or some 20% total since the patch. Longest resist-chain is eight resists in a row on my minstrel (and against a green mob).

My captain and hunter are also experiencing resists on their shouts, corruption removal and fears. I used bard's arrow at every oppoturnity I could and I did not get a single bleed through all evening.

So, something is definitely up.
