a few questions about getting SoM

hi all,

i had a few questions about when i buy SoM. apologies if this is all well known, i did a quick search but wasn't positive on what i found.

1) is there a comprehensive site that gives info on the items you recieve with SoM?

2) i guess the 8% speed cloak is for out of combat and any class/level?

3)what does 2 character slots mean? (updated to total of 9?)

4) 1 shared storage: does that mean you only get the extended vault if you pay an extra £5?

5) what colour is the mount? is it slow like the bree horse?

6) also are there different deals to get it or simply £15 for a download as implied by:

i'm not sure whether to keep paying monthly or upgarde to a lifer.

1) I don't know, all I've seen so far is the info I've read on the US forums / preorder page and the CM preorder page, which is all scattered about.

2) It works both in and out-of-combat (or at least it doesn't state it's an out-of-combat buff unlike all the others). It's a 30 minute buff with an 8 hour cooldown, and the buff stays on you even if you take off the cloak.

3) Yep, it just adds 2 more character slots to your account, so you'll have a total of 9 per server instead of 7.

4) Yep, I can't find the link right now, but it was announced at some point that shared storage won't be included with the Siege of Mirkwood expansion at all. You have to buy the adventurers pack (either seperately or through the special edition) to get the shared storage functionality.

5) No idea what it looks like, I haven't been able to find any pictures, but it will likely just be a reskinned version of the existing Moria goat. Also it will be a nimble, aka fast goat, so the same speed as the kindred goat and normal horses.

6) There are no special deals for europeans for different kinds of subscribers. There also isn't a preorder lifetime subscription discount for this expansion.
If you have Shadows of Angmar + Mines of Moria already then your only choice is between the normal and the special edition.

2) Beleive so not tested its in/out combatness

3) it is indeed two more slots than we currently have to bring it to 9

4) as far as we know yes.

5) THe mount is a goat, it is beleived to be similar in abitilited to the better moria one.

6) £15 Sterling for just SoM, £20 sterling for Special Edition which includes the adventureres pack, it seems this is the only way to get the goat.

is it just me, or is that an unbelievable rip off?

if that's true CM are going to get a terrible slating... it won't do the reviews much good either.

I dunno being able have 1 of each class, swap goods between alts whithout having to gp all the way to house or kinhouse, or paying for mail.

And the goat will speed me through the pit that is moria......

Yeah, the goat will speed me up definetly, but I`ll use it only inside Moria

Halloween Jack, just comfort yourself in the knowledge that you're getting your "FREE new, unique mount" for free in the UK. Those paying with Euros because they happen to live in those countries, actually have to pay for that free item.

Incorrect, please do not post inaccuracies. The items are free as part of the pre-order promotion.
