while everyone still complains about the prices(but did buy the upgrade :P) i'm very curious how much xp my char will need to get from 60 to 65 xD, im guessing about 2-3 million...

anyone else better arguments?

and will the free mount ride on my new 2 chars wich im about to make at launch? because mounts are becoming skills instead of an item slot gone

But ye, my guess is around 3-3,5 million maybe i just hope it isnt as easy as leveling alts in low level areas...cause that is really TO easy :P

I think it was Alash that posted a chart over XP changes from SoA to MoM. It would probably be easy to project those changes to future levels. Unless they change the XP curve again, that is.

Seems like you messed up your numbers a little bit Garyu, why extrapolate lvl 60 when you have the exact amount already?
Anyway, quick regression analysis told me this:

This is ofc assuming that Turbine doesn't change the xp curve again, so we are looking at a total xp value of around 7 million, which means close to 2 million to get from 60-65.

Well they didnt change it really intially in MoM it was a while latter they updated it. (Book 7 from memory)

Ops. I did, didn't I. What I did was that I accidentally used the old numbers before the change in book 7.

This should be the correct values for lvl 60-65. That gives 1858130 XP needed from 60-65. My numbers still don't match yours though. What I did was this:
ArrayPad[lvls[[All, 2]], {0, 5}, "Extrapolated", InterpolationOrder -> 3]
using Wolfram Mathematica 7.0. Icould use another interpolation order, for example order 9 would give me 7172503 xp needed at lvl 65.

A comparison of interpolation order 3 and 6 would be:
