just read a post over in MoM discussion thingy. It said there won't be a boxed retail verson of SoM... is this true? coz if it is, i won't be able to get it, and that is REALLY sad if its true.

Welcome to the future ... A couple of years earlier someone would probably say "oh noes! they've released it on DVD. My CD drive won't read it! I won't be able to play!

yeah, ask your parents or some other relative.. Would be a good idea there was a way of just buying the product key from a shop but still download the game from the website.

There was am idea on the US forum where you go to your local game shop and download it to a flash drive and you also get a product key. It would be a nice way to impliment it if only some of the shops would do it

To be honest, nowadays hardly anyone buys the boxed versions of MMORPGs in compraison to the number of ppl that just buy the key... It's just a much better deal... So no matter how wierd it looks, maybe it isn't such a bad decision to realese it digital only... Time will tell...

Hmmm __________________ from US forums: If Turbine really does have the Harry Potter license, it will be interesting to see if they do the same. I guess Harry would be DPS, Hermione a healer and Ron a tank? It's a shame they don't have more vision when it comes to games, vision that equals their licenses.
