Satine, could we get a separate 'Siege of Mirkwood' discussion board please? Like how we have a separate one for Mines of Moria. Would be nice to have a sticky too with up-to-date announcements and so on.
Thanks

Yep, SoMe threads start piling up.
It's already been found "OMG Injustice!!!! :P" that we're behind the US with this.

There is no need for it.
There isn't any need for the MoM forum anymore.

Well it needn't be permanent, just somewhere separate for people to discuss SoM before it comes out, people posting threads unrelated to SoM will probably find their threads pushed to the second page quite quickly... After SoM is released it could just be merged with the existing boards.

I used to think having a separate board for each expansion was a good idea. But then, a lot of people have no idea about structure and order and just click some random thing and start writing.
Without moderation and moving threads to where they belong, we should just have it all in general discussion. The SW:TOR forum is excellently handled btw. The mods there not only move threads to the parts of the forum where they belong. If two topics are opened up on the same subject (like this one), both of them are merged into one single thread. I wish CM would learn from that excellent example.

If you really want, vBulletin supports thread prefixes. A set of these could be used. Some things like [SPOILER] would be worth having anyway.

[SPOILER] - [WHINGE] - [FIX MY MISTAKE] - [TROLL BAIT] - Though we may have to split whinge into subsections, Whinge Too Hard, Whinge Too Easy, etc. I also cannot see the reason to split the MoM forum out. |

There is good reason to split an upcoming expansion out, as talk of it can quiet easially swamp the normal board. However its well past time MoM was brought back into the fold.

How about just renaming the current MoM-subsection to Expansions or something similar. Would work in a generic way.
