I love Lotro! And i have no fancy review to back this up but well i just played the game instead of writing about it...

So he expected every single player to be able to get the one ring?
That one ring of wich only 1 exists? (correct me if there are more rings, never read books or watched movies tbh) even if more exist, surely not a few thousand for all players to get one.

I think it is safe to say Ron is a moron.

It is quite evident that he is a slave to the World of Warcraft fan boi movement, and to be honest if he is writing a review he should not be so bias. Alas, this piece of crap is nothing but bias.

Just to clarify I'm not a Lotro fan girl, I actually hated this game the first time I tried it but I was in the depths of another game (Guild Wars) and I found the visuals to be hideous, I'm still not too keen on the odd way my character looks when running. It was enough to put me off furthering my adventures. Eventually I got sick of Guild Wars and picked this game back up, now I'm really enjoying it.

He made a comment about feeling "pressured to advance", well I have never felt rushed playing this game, my progression felt very fluid and calm. This "pressure" he speaks of is baffling to me.

He talks of end game content, now if I want to be picky, it certainly isn't the end of the game

so his arguement is void.

I cannot speak for his comments about PvP, I have not yet tried it.

Leaving the best for last, as did he. His comments about not getting his own ruling ring. A poor attempt at humour if it is, if not this for me makes this whole review absolute horse crap. It is a rediculous comment to say the least and if we did indeed have this option, I have a feeling ALOT of people would be annoyed.

everyone is entitled to their opinion, even if it's a negative one. Granted, that review is more like a blog entry and not that "professional".

Totally agree if anything I get too distracted by other stuff to do, crafting, fishing, sorting out my house etc to quest
So it seems to me he rushed to the end WoW fashion & expected lots of Elder Game, it was more of a 'Getting to the destination' rather than 'Enjoying the journey' Senario.

This Ron seems to be in need of proper info...
First of all, he says he´s being rushed to "the end game" , anybody who just has used 2 minutes reading info about the game, will know that the developers dont belive in "end game"...

well, it is a big responseability to capture the spirit of Tolkien, but they´re trying, and i belive that their doing a great job (there´s some bugs, but hopefully they will correct this over time)...And no doubt, is´t way better than WoW will ever be, both graficaly and gameplay...

But he´s allso complaning about that you cant get "your own ring of power"...Thats probaly the stupidest thing i´ve ever heard...Imagine that, ½ the players on a server was running around with "their own ring of power", then there would not be much gameplay left...

I belive that Ron just had a bad morning and needed to write something negative about something...
