Default Lma 2004

Yo I'm new and i only joined today. I'm from Australia.

I am also awaiting LMA playing no other Management sims ever. So I'm new to LMA. I only really got into it when the OAXM showed a preview saying that LMA 2004 was delayed to January (And this is very recent)
to add all this wickid stuff. This is the only game to knock Fable off my most awaited game list and thats saying alot. What I want to know is.

1. How do you actually make money?
2. Is it still March?
3. If I can't wait should i buy another Managment Sim?

I can answer all three questions:

1- U can make money by lots of ways. Seling players for instance.
2- I am afraid that it is still March.
3- If u want another management sim try TCM 2004 of go for LMA 2003.

Hope this helps

Selling players is one of the main things. I hope this isn't like in fifa 2003 when you sell all of arsenals ****ees and buy the best players their ratings no lower then 91.

have no fear, nothing like fifa2003. remember this is a management game, not a simulation game so it goes into more depth on the management side, you have to make bids for players, then they have to be accepted by the club, then you have to negotiate a contract with the player before they will sign with you, depending on your negotitian skils and whether your a tight ass about your money or not this can take a few weeks. there is no way you can afford to buy every good player in the game, and also when your selling players sometimes they refuse to leave, which can tend to get quite annoying.

gate receipts help get money in
if you are paying out thousands of pounds in wages every week you will not earn much money so look for players with low wages.

Sounds good. I could see some players refusing to leave.

Also wats so good about Ashton and Bellion. I've never heard of any of the good players being good.

Are Henry, Giggs, Nistlerooy, RAul, and that really good guy from Parma any good in LMA?

aston and bellion are good to start with, but you can develop them into great players, which is what a huge part of a management game is about. gives you alot of satisfaction to develop a player to greatness. the great players are still great, it's just their more likely to degrade over time, whilst the younger players you get to develop yourself.

the satisfaction out of the game is the best coz you get scores and you can see where your ranked in the world.

no player will stay where they are not wanted unless you have a shortage of players.
using younger players is beta coz you get alot more out of em.
lets say you have a choice between

batistuta- costs you 12m but is 33 and only plays for 1 or 2 seasons

or

adriano-that striker from parma you were on about.he is only 21 and is gr8 at the start and will set you back about 15m but he will play for about 10years for you and will get beta and develop his game.

also you could sell them for 40m and make a very good profit.

value goes up with age until they are 26 and then drops dramatically and 29 and above

hope this helps dont bother with TCM or CM get lma 2003 and jus waot like we do until march for sumthin new to get our teeth into.

oh and welcome to the forum JB
