Default My First Ever LMA Team! Tips Welcome

Hello this is my first ever post on this forum but I have been reading it for several weeks so if you are wondering how I know about players like Rivaldo, Diego it was because I was reading this forum and about good players before I even got the game so thanks for your tips I chose for my first ever LMA manager team Man Utd I have never played any other LMA game so I'm new to the series too I won the Charity Shield (on penalties) and I'm so far unbeaten in the league well here's my team (I can't tell you which team I use because I switch players round all the time so I'll just say my squad):

Formation 4-3-1-2
Goalkeepers
GK P.Cech
GK T.Howard
GK F.Barthez ( was on loan at start of game put him on transfer market at January noone wanted him )
Defenders
DF G.Heinze (been brilliant for me bought him at January played 3 been man of the match 2)
DF R.Ferdinand
DF I.Mitreski
DF J.O'Shea
DF N.de Jong
DF W.Brown
DF M.Silvestre
DF G.Neville
Midfielders
MD V.Smicer (also bought at January for Cech to have a Czech friend)
MD Rivaldo
MD D.Fletcher
MD Diego ( the only player who I don't change round Diego has been in my first team nearly every game as a AM he just doesn't seem to get tired)
MD E.Djemba-Djemba
MD R.Giggs
MD Kleberson
MD P.Scholes
MD C.Ronaldo
MD M.Stewart (was also on loan at start of game placed him on transfer list at January nobody wanted him )
Forwards
FD L.Saha
FD D.Bellion (He is really good!)
FD R.van Nistlerooy
FD S.Milosevic (Loan)

As I said I'm unbeaten in the league but if it wasn't for this I would be in second place because I've had a load of draws and Arsenal are only 2-3 points behind me
I'm still in all cups at the moment aswell.

The First Leg of Semi-final of the League Cup didn't go to well though
Arsenal 2-1 Man Utd
NA L.Saha (can't remember Arsenal striker sorry!)
2nd Leg I got my revenge isn't it sweet.
(back in red)
Man Utd 2-0 Arsenal
D.Bellion
K.Toure og

Yeah I knew K.Toure hated Arsenal anyway thanks for reading and if you have any advice whether I should drop anyone or buy anyone I welcome your advice!

Thanks

well done, ana a good squad. Bellion was fantastic for me as well, scoring 12 in 10games, then he got an injury and lost it, scoring 4 in about 20 games

welcome to the forums aswell!

Default Howdy

Yes welcome to the forum UNSYutd, you seem to have the gist of things, 4-3-1-2 is a great formation for Manu,I would persevere with Bellion myself, although cack in real life on this game he is a top performer , regularly outscoring Ruud.Once you get rid of the baldy goalie, i would invest in A Isaackson, as a long term replacement.Anyway nice read looking forward to more.

vittek and luis fabiano would be good strikers to buy. they are both young and you can get them for a combined amount of around 10million. easy days. and wages are peanuts too.

kallstrom and obodo would do well in midfield and I'd recomend andrade as an extra defender too.

good read there! keep it up!

Welcome to the forum Unsy United, nice read there! Some players I reccomend are Luis Fabiano from Sao Paulo and also Van der vaart from Ajax! When I was managing Man U I had these two in my side and they were fantastic! Goodluck with Man U!

Once again we agree Gazzer. Van Der Vaart is a must and Luis Fabiano is...well...a must also!

Welcome to the forum Unsy utd!

I'd reccomend Jermaine Jenas for the midfield aswell, although it is solid he is very young, cheap for his ability and he is better than Djemba-Djemba, Kleberson, Flethcer, Stewart and Maybe smicher!

Good luck in the future, keep us updated!

Thank you all for you replies I will buy the players you metioned at the end of the season because it's February now. I will definitely have to buy a striker at end of season anyway because Milosevic's loan ends thanks again
