Managers Comments

Well this is a new season and i have full faith in the side as we managed to have a brilliant and successful firsts season, lets hoe we can do as good or even better this season.

I am hoping to win the Setanta Shield and FA Trophy again but i feel it may be tougher this year as i have more games to play since i am looking at trying to get in the FA Cup's main knockouts, we never managed to do so last season due to an unfortunate defeat in the qualifying round.

I have a target of mid-table this time round and if i can get the best start then we may also be doing much better than this.

Assistant Report

Simon Crawford is very pleased with the amount of depth to the squad and feels we can be confident that the players we have are capable of achieving what is required of them.

Despite possessing a strong team, Crawford feels that our weakest position is in goal.

Crawford believes you may want to consider these players as a potential solution to the problem goalkeeper area:

Jake Cole (Q.P.R.'s 23 year old English goalkeeper who is valued at £18K)
Mark de Vries (22 year old Dutch goalkeeper who is valued at £0K)
Dani Roiz (29 year old Spanish goalkeeper who is valued at £0K)

He also believes that the following are the best:

Senior Players

Jim Ablancourt - Defender
Francisco Javier Campos - Midfielder
Izet Zahirovic - Attacker

Youth Players

Ben Mee - Defender
Magnus Eikrem - Midfielder
Alfredo Neto - Attacker

Best Line Up:
(POS - Name - Rating Stars)

GK - Sofiane Khedairia - 6

DR - Ritchie De Laet - 7
DL - Cabbar Bagdagi - 7
DC - Jim Ablancourt - 7
DC - Aaron Beech - 7

MR - Yohan Guichard - 7
ML - Quentin Boesso - 7
MC - Sean Mackle - 7
MC - Francisco Javier Campos - 7

SC - Izet Zahirovic - 7
SC - Cedric Agrain - 7

Managers Comments

Well i have to say i feel the squad is the strongest we have ever had and yes the goalkeeping position is a little bit weak but i feel it is more than capable of doing the job needed.

I am looking forward to seeing how the young players cope and maybe they can be stars of the future Dorchester Town.

Promotion Odds

Blue Square Premier promotion odds from Sky Bet

Wrexham have been made 5-4 favourites to gain promotion from the Blue Square Premier League this season.

The rest of the main contenders are prised at: 6-4 - Oxford, 3-1 - Stevenage, 5-1 - Burton, 5-1 - Rotherham and 5-1 - Bournemouth.

With the bookmakers believing promotion for your team to be unlikely, their price of 40-1 seems to point more to the fact that your side should be concerned with avoiding relegation.

2009/10 Blue Square Premier Fixtures

Dorchester will start with games against Bournemouth (Home), Oxford (Home) and Eastbourne Boro (Away).

Dorchester have been given £85K for Blue Square Premier TV Rights over the forthcoming season.

Managers Comments

This has to have been my busiest time ever in the transfer market as i have made some fantastic sales to give us the solid future of a cash supply. I am pleased to have brought in some great looking players all of them are at a young age.

I needed to change the staff around as they had not been as skilled as i hoped, as you can see we have managed to bring in a few great coaches to give the team a perfect start to the season.

Managers Comments

This was the perfect start to the new season, we are currently have a 100% record now and i feel if we carry on like this the title or promotion will be on the cards. It is very early as anything could happen from now to the end of season.

I am pleased to have been able to loan a few players out so they can get some first team football and not just that it will keep the team happy if all players are enjoying life such as new contracts and more first team football.

I hope that next month we can carry on doing the same and even do better by scoring more and conceding less.
