Default Lost

Nope, this isn't another thread for the US drama based on an island, but something else that is 'lost'.

On Saturday, I noticed that my mp3 player wasn't in it's normal place, where I usally keep it.
I tried looking around for it, but to no avail. I even got everything out from under the bed to have a look, but, still couldn't find it.

I have basically looked in every knook and crany in my bedroom and haven't found it!
The last time I used it was Thursday night, where it was on my bed, I then put it somewhere and now can't remember!

I put the headphones where my phone is, wallet etc on top of filing cabinet in my bedroom, so I haven't lost them.

Grrrr..... it's been nearly a week though, the longest I've been without it actually!

Is your bed next to a wall? It might have slipped down there. I thought I found the new life down the side of my bed once. Just a couple of tissues stuck together though.

I'm not too sure whether we actually really needed to know that.

Check near the filing cabinet. I would have kept the headphones and player together, so if the headphones are there the player wouldn't be too far. Have you got any siblings (I don't like that word) that could have "borrowed" it?

Sorry to bring this up -

Still no sign! and it's been a week now!

Like I said, i would have put it there, by the earphones, I then checked between the wall and the filing cabinet, as there is a small gap, but nope, not there, even behind it as there is a bit of space i.e it's not against the facing wall (tis because there is a door there). Just found an empty bottle there. And I thought my "siblings" might of borrowed it, but no, they haven't.

Cobblers - Don't think so, looked everywhere really (though just not detailed), could look everywhere again I suppose...

Ben - It's probably staring me in the face, I'm just not looking hard enough!

I even had a fear yesterday morning that it might of somehow got into the bin, but then I relished that the bin didn't get replaced until Tuesday, when I still didn't have it, so I was assured, although what about before that? I.e before the Tuesday?

Asked my brother if his friends might of taken it as a prank, and if they sold it at the market (which is highly unlikely, as who would want to buy just the player??) but no, they didn't touch it (even though one moved my old nokia I used to have from on top of the filling cabinet)
And I don't think I left it on the bus coming back from college, had the neckstrap over me and was listening to it.

Really want to find it asap, bought two albums from HMV on Thursday (Mylo and Libertines if you want to know) and I want some new tunes on it!

The two most unhelpful things anyone can ever say to somebody who has lost something:

1. "Where did u see it last?" - If u knew that it wouldn't be lost!

2. "It'll be in the last place u look!" - Well yeah...u wouldn't look, find it, and then continue looking! -_-

I thought i'd lost my iPod the other week...i had been listening to it in bed and i couldn't find it when i woke up! Somehow it had managed to make its way to the other end of my room and hidden itself under a chair i have!

Not that this is helping u at all...so i will leave u with some last words of hope:

Try remembering where u saw it last...cuz u know it'll be in the last place u look! :-p
