Default Struggling to wake!

Just wondering if anyone else has ever experienced this, I go to sleep obviously and am dreaming away, I then as you do start to wake but thats where I start to get this strange experience. I am telling myself I want to wake but I find it difficult to do so, also my body feels as though it is frozen and yes I do know that I want to wake and its as though I have to will myself to wake.

Fell asleep on the sofa today and experienced it again, I was telling myself to wake and was still struggling to wake, the sensation I had was as though I was dying, im not kidding. Eventually I could move my hand but still not wake and my face felt so numb, I honestly remember saying I don't want to die at which point I was able to move my body again and open my eyes, so am I just going nuts or has anyone experience this sort of paralized sleep state, its freaking me out, 2 nights ago it was as though someone or something was trying to enter my body, thats the only way I could describe it and I was trying to shout out but was unable to speak. Freaky or what.

Have this a lot of mornings, your lying there and it's as if your saying in your mind to your body, "Move", but your body isn't listening.

It's mainly coz i'm out of school, have you left anywhere recently that you would have to get up for? And do you remember your dreams more than you used to?

Ans by the way, i am into spiritualism, and something is not trying to enter your body, if you have lost someone recently or are missing them, they may be close, but not as close as you think, the spirits would not want to harm or scare you in anyway, maybe your body is trying to tell you, you need more sleep.

yea used to get that quite often mate, not as much now though, the bit i hated the most is when someone would come in the room, and you could here them moving about but you cant move round to see who it is because your body wont let you,i think its called sleep paralysis or something along thoughs lines.

Its quite weird because I could hear and see the TV screen, Sky sports news it was, it really does scare me, the sensation of something entering my body was the worst for me. Searched on the net and its know as sleep paralysis (SP), very common it seems. I really thought I was going crazy, your trying to scream and yet no sound comes out your mouth. Good to know at least that im not alone in this happening to me.
