Terry appointed England captain!

It had to be a defender as they are normally the best men for the job and JT was the best choice IMO.

Wrong choice imo and I wouldn't want Ferdinand either.

Yep correct choice IMO. Better leader than Rio and has more passion as well.

Definitely the right choice. Natural born leader, one of the best players in the squad, and in the prime of his career. Can't imagine it would have been a hard choice for Capello.

Steven Gerrard would of been my choice if i was England manager.

I don't care about England but Terry was completely the right choice. Ferdinand isn't as good as him, only other choice was Gerrard but I think Terry is a better leader so it was a good decision by Fabio Capello.
