Lightbulb Losing to "worse" teams problem

Many people have complained that very often a better team loses to worse team...

I have noticed that a "very good and talented players" are playing very bad in matches where´s a worse team. Like Ronaldo, Shevchenko and Raul don´t want to play against teams like Osasuna, Chievo...

But when you put a youngsters to the field in those games, they are full of passion and energy and they want to show their goodness to you and will manage pretty well.

Are you feeling the same way like I, or is this just an accident?

I have definitely noticed that sometimes my team is more willing to perform than others. I have considered going down the replay the same game with different players route, to see if it makes a difference.
I did actually play the same game 4 times with different tactics, to see if that helped. I am surprised to say that it did. I normally play defensive and patient. Against poor opposition, the team play better with a more aggressive approach. Against good opposition, I find that this generally leads to a very open game, in which you must have good goalscorers and/or quality defence.

I did notice a distinct drop in form when I made several big signings (out of contract) and paid them each over 60 000 a week. Morale dropped, perhaps due to more competition for places, or jealousy over wages. I cannot really say why, because I have no idea how the game engine truly works. I only wish I did.

Sometimes, I think you have to accept that your team are gonna suck.

I've noticed that. If you play a good team with good players your more likely to win but if you play a crappy team with a good team they dont try as hard.

Thats what happened to me too.

I went Barcelona and sold most of origanal team to buy Ronaldinho,Beckham, Totti & Roberto Carlos with Salgado.

And later that season Cudicini.

I Hammered Liverpool in the champions league 4-1 and the week after that i played some spanish low division team in the copa del rey and i lost 2-1.

What the hell happens

Someone tell me

You could say that's life.

What about those shockers in the FA Cup over the years: Newcastle v Hereford, Arsenal v Wrexham, Coventry v Sutton. Giant-killing does happen - you all LMA to be true to life do you?

True, it's very very annoying. It seems to me that in the first few seasons of the game it happens more - then as the team settles then even v useless teams (that would probably cause a shock earlier in the game) I get through by the odd goal. That's how it seems to me any road.

Yesterday brought my most embarrasing defeat as a manager on any game I have ever played!
3rd round of the F.A cup Brighton 1-0 Newcastle.

Not having a great year to be Honest!

Default my 2 player game

i recently started a 2player game with my m8 and he is Real Madrid this is his team:
Casilles
R.Carlos
Helguera
Laursen
Cafu/ Salgado
Emerson
Zidane/ Figo
Raul
Ronaldo
H.Kewell
Morientes
(do i need to say more...a superstar team at least)
he was top of the his league (i am arsenal) and doing well in all the cup, then suddenly BAD BAD BAD.
Juventus 2-0 Real Madrid
Real Madrid 0-3 SEVILLA
and then he lost another game against a terrible team...sad stuff indeed.
