Taking a break

Friends, boldreians, countrymen;

I uninstalled the client now. I realized after 10 hours of continuus gaming today, that I am addicted, and that I play this game way too much. Now, I have been thinking of cutting down to a few hours a day, and get to do something else, but, it's like my cigarettes, I manage to smoke five a day for a week, and then I'm back to the regular 20.

Sad to say, I have other, more important things to do, like finishing my masters degree and hang a bit more around with my friends on my side of the computer screen.

Now, this has nothing to do with the game being boring. It has to do with the game being too fun. No, I am not cancelling my account, and you can not have my stuff.

I wanna say thanks to all those I have played with, to the roleplayers out there and to the mad rushers I've zerged with. Hoping not to forget anyone, a special thanks to Eraleas, Lomea, Anaya, Cromes, Lirandel, Sayvara, Adjanah, Mustrum, Evelene, Evvie, Tashi, Molkire, Maeglins, Brannigan, Rojan, Maghiras, Blurgh, Winterbreeze, Zeniath, Ergan, Palna, Xzantor, and to Maglor for outkilling me in TS over and over again; to all of the Shards of Siberys, and to all the late-nighters who bore with me through the countless slayings of various overpowered low-AI bosses. Also thanks to Harmen for a concept that I hope will survive

I'll be back one day or another.

Bah! I'll surely miss you and I expect to see you in some weeks, with the new enhancements or the new module on its way.

In any case, I might need a small break myself to have time to do something about myself since I have been gaming a year now (well ok, I have rarely played 10 hours a day, more like 10 hours a night!).

Skjønne dæ så jævlig godt, e samme grunn som for min del. Neglisjert alt ann de siste 9 måneda, så en periode med helt pause e den eneste måten å komme sæ på rett kjøl igjen trur æ.

get that degree done asap then land a job, gets easier to manage ure gaming time when u gotta be at work for 8 hrs a day (whorum foring not included). and set aside a day in the week for a meet up with ure friends, thats what tash and i do, and we then spend the whole evening tempting them with ddo (ones got a weak spot and we like to torment him). and then when ure all sorted come back to ddo!

now be off with you, the sooner u get sorted the sooner u can come back. and hopefully by then i'll have got more str than u and a flaming vorp :P
