Agents
I. What is AGN? Let me start off with a bit of our history. Agents was founded in 2004 in the game Planetside. We played as the Terran Republic (with shadow outfits on both NC and VS). Our popularity soon grew and we expanded from a single outfit to a Gaming Community that has/or previously had factions in multiple new MMOs. Currently we support WAR, WoW, Planetside, CoD4, and TF2. All have successful, self-sustaining branches led by officers of AGN. Drama is limited, and the amount of people who have left the community can be counted on one hand. Our officer structure is relatively flat. We have a Community Leader who organizes the branches, Community Managers who take care of specific tasks and branch leaders who lead people in game. The three groups work together to manage the community in an integrated and efficient way. Currently we are recruiting to expand our player base and are working internally on multiple initiatives to increase membership count, activity, and diversity. Since we were founded in 2004, we have been interested in progressing as a community both in size and in strength and we will continue to do so for the foreseeable future. II. What kind of person is an Agent? The soul of our community is the diverse gamer, so we are looking for people who love video games and have unique personalities. Be it casual or hardcore, novice or pro, AGN is a community for everyone. We take pride in our stability, organization, and maturity. Many opportunities exist for people who wish to lead as well; our community allows those who wish to lead all the opportunities they need to do so. Our membership is very diverse with members on the East Coast, West Coast, the Midwest, the UK, China, Malaysia, and even India. Agents work as a team, no matter what game we are playing. III. What will AGN be playing as in JumpGate? Our Squad will be named Agents and we will be aligning with the Octavian Faction, however we welcome players of every faction to join us. We feel this would be the best fit for us, seeing as we love a good fight and feel combat can solve any problem. We plan on diversifying our gameplay and keeping things interesting and competitive, leading the way for the glory of the Octavian Empire. At the moment this is all the information we can give you, but once NetDevil formalizes their plans for Squads we will announce our specific goals. We have signed up for guild beta, quickly filling in all 50 emails when we announced it on our own forums. We plan on going into this game with that many people, plus more. We don't plan on taking a backseat to any other squad. We are serious about what we do. We do not back down to threats. We protect each other, we're a community, not a temporary clan or team. IV. Anything else I should know? AGN requires very few things of its members. This promotes our casual gaming side. However, we do require the use of both Xfire and vent (PM me if you want the vent info to hop on and chat). Xfire is heavily used because of our communities nature to be multi-gamed. Staying in contact is a lot easier when all members use Xfire, Ventrilo and our forums. As far as more intangible requirements go, we have noticed that those with thick skin and more maturity tend to do better than those who might be easily offended. Always good to see large established groups joining the community as a whole. So welcome aboard guys, Hopefully see some of you guys in-game once we have access, and most likely stumble across afew of you in WAR if any of you play that as well

When the US/EU split happens, not even promises of shiny goodies could persuade me to play on EU to be honest, but only because I'm a late evening/Early AM kind of person so for me European servers are always empty due to playing off-peak (WAR being the major one atm which is greatly ruining my experience not being able to take part in many public quests easily, and no keep/Scenario fights
).Simply put, if CM and ND do something similar for LOTRO (CM and Turbine) where Netdevil refuse to give digitial copys outside the US and only offer boxed for a extra £7-9 for shipping, then if it's worth it... I'm paying that extra £10, otherwise I'll just wait for the policy to change .(BTW War for me is EU as well, Burlok Destruction and Axe-bite mountain destruction)
