Final Version, P2P, F2P...?
I'm not sure if this has been asked an answered before but I have not found it in any of the FAQ's.
When the full game comes out what kind of payment will there be? Will it be like Guild Wars or Freelancer, just need to buy the disc. Silk Road Online or Voyage Century Online, free to play but you can buy premium items. Or like World of Warcraft, buy the game and have to pay $15 every month? |

Right now those details are with Codemasters/Netdevil and nothing has been officially stated one way or another. I think it fair to say though that it is assumed by most here that initially at least, it will be buy/play then a regular monthly sub.

I'll be honest here I hate F2P games they remind of those horrible horrible popstation ripoffs.
You want cheap games you get what you pay for... I always like a game that has Pay to play on it cos at least it hints that there might be some quality to it. If not you can unsub and never look at it again, like I did with AOC. |

Given its predecessor is pay-to-play, and how awesome Evolution looks to be, pay-to-play is a near-certainty.
You can't effectively maintain awesome on hopes and dreams alone.
