Default Damage obstruction

As some of you may know, Eve Online did not implement such a thing making it possible to shoot at targets through stations and asteroids fields. This was plain annoying.
What do you guys think? Should it be possible to take friendly fire if you are in the wrong place at the wrong time?

Shooting through solid objects? No chance. Such magic wont be in JGE and it certainly wasnt in JGC.

If I remember, it was a pretty good tactic (considering you were a good stick) to use asteriods as protection.
