no controller? HELP!

ok i start the game and its fine. when it gets 2 the screen that says please press start under it it says "please reconnect your controller" so i reconect it and it wont work. wat do i do i tryed my madcats controller and the stok cntroller. pleez help me

Driver,
It appears that you must use a Playstation 2 controller only. I tried the PS 1 controller and a Madcatz MC2 wheel with no success. I exchanged the MC2 for an MC2 Universal and it works great.
