Problems starting up

Hi.

I've just bought IGI2 Covert Strike. A game I have been waiting for ever since I heard it was comming.
Today I walked happily to the local pc-game dealer and bought the game. I rushed home and installed the game. Ohhh... this is going to be SO fun...

But NO. I tried to start the game and a litte remark entered my screen. Access Denied was the title. Under it said "please login with administrator priviliges and try again".
I tried to uninstall and try again... no...
Once more.... no

And now I'm tired of trying things that doesnt work.
I am the freaking admin on this computer.

My hardware on this machine is :
Asus V7X8 mainboard
Amd XP1600+ Cpu
1024 MB DDR-DIMM PC2700 333MHz
40GB+80GB+120GB Hard drive
GeForce Ti/500TV 128MB

I have installed the game on another partition that my os (Windows 2000)

Any ideas...?

I guess the clue is in the question, are you logged onto the pc with a user account that has admin priviliges ? What operating system are you on I suspect Win2000 or XP.

I dont't know why you'd need to be logged on as an administrator but at least it gives you the answer in the error.

I do use a username with admin priviliges... I even tried to uninstall the game, create a new admin-user and install the game under the new user. Still mailfunction.
