IGI 2 Lockup - ANNOYED

system specs:

512DDR
AMD Athlon 1800
gf4 MX 440 (64mb)
dx version 9
win 98se

i cant get past the part where he falls form the sky (on the first SP mission) he hit his paracute then it locks up, my comp dies on me

anyway got any ideas??

im running 41.09 drivers

i have the same problem, my compu always stalls at the same point.
I also tryed skipping the intro while pressing <ESC> .. compu stalls ..

my box is a:
AMD TB 2100+
512 MB SDRam
ATI Radeon 9100 64 MB with Catalyst 3.1 driver
SB Live
W2K Pro SP3

i also can't activate EAX in the option menu.
