If anyone has any ideas on modifying the present maps available please post them so if you cant,wont or unable(due to eating dohnuts)
to use the Editor someone who can,will or able to use the editor to make your map ideas come true. Blade_187 has posted an idea on map modifying (which i'am trying at the moment)sentry gun at obj3 redstone) but i thought it needed a thread to it self

Here's a few I would like to see:
Sandstorm: I would like to see the gates to obj2 open 5 secs later.... it will make a huge difference to the way the map is played (ie. no IGI suicides which ALWAYS beat CON to obj2) Chinese Temple: Move the zip line so the thru the wall bug can't be used. Jungle: Move the IGI obj3 spawn points closer. At present they are way too far away. If you plant the bomb and get killed, you will not make it back to the temple before the bomb is defused Redstone: A sentry gun at obj3 in the same way as Chinese Temple (10 secs to go offline after obj2) should stop the objective camping that goes on. Would need to be placed in the computer room so that the side windows/doors cant be used for entry. Also make the floor below comp unshootable ![]() I'll add more if I think of any

Well Blade_187 it was easier to time lock all the doors at obj3 (redstone) that will stop both sides getting an advantage
added a new zip line to obj1 (speed things up ) and assorted objects to hide behind .I was thinking about a Armoured car(sentry gun)at obj 3 in front of the double doors to stop obj campers and rocket attacks through doors but it looks silly .1 more zip line and its ready to try, i think

I agree with most of Blade's ideas.
Would also add: Dockside: Also needs spawns moved closer to obj 3. VERY unlikely you can get back if you die once bomb planted. Tho I spose an alternative would just be to increase bomb timer? Redstone: Make lift up tower inoperable till fuelling complete. That way if anyone wants to 'camp' on the top ( igi or con ) they have to walk. Also instead of sentry guns, maybe just make all the doors to obj3 locked till gantry moved. Forest Raid: BIG hate of mine here: Move the spawn points away from the objectives. At both objective 1 and objective 2, as soon as the objective is accomplished the objective itself is a spawn point. This means that there are loads of defenders running around the area, someone completes objective, and the guy you then kill is 'in his spawn area' and you lose all your money. Just moving the spawns away a little wouldnt affect the gameplay too much, and would stop this irritating (imo) glitch. Sandstorm: Minor irritation, but on the defenders map, the 2 number 1's are directly over where an attacker would stand to hack the generator. This means you cant see on the map if anyone is there. some would maybe say this is good, personally i would prefer to haev the numbers moved away slightly or actually over the generators. What do others think? chances are if you look at map and see someone AT generator it is too late to get there, just bugs me hehe |

I tried to time lock the gates to the lift but it didnt work i think the AreaActvated box its in needs looking into not the gates and the script altered i think
,(anyone know the script command for the gate or AreaActived box it would help lots).I time locked the doors at obj3 they work great or not till 2obj is done .I havent got on to the rest of the maps yet wont be long though.Are the wire slides available to all the maps (needed on jungle). and is there a command in the editor for screenshots? |

the temple bug in jungle that allows you to get in the wall
making water not kill you if you fall in it from any great height (probably not possible without code changes, dunno....) cant think of anymore offhand tho...
