last night at work i sat thinking over why i was at work and not home playing some MP, hmmm well need the money for IGI3

I also got to think that some universal radio messages could be fun, some hello's & bye's, some cheering and some "friendly taunts"

oh well just some thoughts getting me through a work night

it would detract from the realism of the game.. both sides have radios on different frequencies so you couldnt have a universal shout. However you COULD (for fun) have a megaphone at the bases and if you felt like it you could then make announcements that all could hear.

"attention enemy.. you suck. By the way, all your base are belong."

I do think there should be an announcer tho, someone at HQ who is monitoring the situation. Both sides could then get a 5 minute warning maybe or one side get a "congratulations, job well done" message and the other side get a "try harder next time, soldier."

lets not forget, as you write, it is a GAME....

I dont know with you i play games for the fun, the more realistic the better, but still it is a GAME.. and a good 1 too

if i wanted 100% realism, i'd go back as a sergeant in the danish army...

To be a little more serious than in the last post... (was serious about ZeroWing though - apart from the (hilarious) intro, it's an excellent game...) - I don't really think there's much need for hello's/goodbye's - as you normally have enough time to write when you enter/exit a game...
Also, it might get confusing if taunts were added - they could detract your attention from those radio messages that are important...

Oh - and about the "it's-a-game"-stuff - then what about us, who drew a low number (1491), were considered suited for army duty - and still didn't get into the army?!?!.... We want realism too!....(Probably only danes will understand this part...)

regarding the army, i am sorry you didnt get your chance, best 2 1/2 years in my life its a nice kick shooting real assault riffles, guns and the 50 cal. machine gun

uh its just a game oke its not realistic but just like in mohaa it is fun 2 have some voice calls like:

Well, I could have volunteered... But I just decided to go studying instead...
